What series has a salaried flagman for all their races, or at least a trained group of flagman regionally ?
Does USAC, WOO sprint and DLM, Lucas DLM and HL have a consistent flagman. It seems pinching pennies to not having a constant flagman.
Does the flagman just do what the officials says. If he/she see debris on the track, but does not get message to throw caution, they keep racing ? (doubtful).
Racers should have consistent officiating and consistent flagmen for a National Series, hell even a regional series.
Any advantage to having various flagman. Is it a budget issue?

Not sure about now, but I personally know one of the guys the World of Outlaws would hire to flag Beaver Dam and Wilmot. (and I believe other WI tracks as well) He is from Wisconsin, so I do know they used different flag men in different regions at that time anyways. (And by "that time" I mean within the last 10 years)

What about the ticket booth and hot dog stand? Grader and water truck. It's an outrage I tell ya!

I think it's hard to find full time flagmen becuase the little sons a' bitches only make 175 a week which is fine, and then they have to wear these shirts that say 'authourity', get all this power, and then they just run back to the pits.

For a consistent flagman, you might as well get one like Lincoln has. In an era where the calls are made "from the tower", the flagman is mostly just an ornament.
