Apparently the race yesterday was 31 laps instead of 30? "Brad" blew a tire on the 31st lap and didn't go to the scales thinking he had finished outside of the top 5, (when in fact he was 3rd when the race was supposed to end) so they DQ him? How many officiating issues have they had to date? Is this "bringing the sport to the next level?"

Or, maybe it's just rookie errors on the part of a newer sanctioning body still working to find their groove?
I gotta be honest, 30 laps, 31 laps or whatever other conspiracy theory people are searching for aside, Brad saw the checkered flag. He knows what it means. Are you saying that H-L needs to give Brad back his spot, even though he knows how the rules work? That would be playing favorites, and that would bring out the posters who want to loudly point that out, like you.

Just re-watched the race and it was clearly 31. But if they are going to put on racin like that, they can have all the officiating problems they want. I am sure they tell the drivers that need to scale on the one way radio system as well, but he may not have heard that either. I don't know if anybody has noticed or is having this issue with dirtvision, but when the race starts the lap counter at the top right of the screen counts that as 1 lap. It doesn't matter the broadcast. It is always one lap ahead.

Yea Dirtvision posts the lap they are working on instead of the laps complete. Not sure who came up with that.

Do you ever stop crying about the HL series? For someone who hates it so bad you sure do follow every little thing that happens in their races....always looking for every little opportunity to bash them.
You are so predictable, lol!

thank you murph, you nailed it on the head. it appears the most of the old timers that regard the WOO as the SUPREMEMBEING BODY for our sport, are just that, old timers with a one sided opinion, always end up just like this. perfect, without fault, without reason other that to stir up chit, typical of the sometimers group of posters..
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

So are you saying that the WoO points leader and defending champion can't even come in and win in a "Mickey Mouse" series? No wonder you are so bitter.
So much crying from the fanboys.

Gravel has 2 wins and 4 top 5s in 5 tries with the Disney series. For someone who goes by Truth Teller you seem to be on Strawser side of things.

A lot of the old timer fan boys seem stuck in the past with tales of "Back in my day, gas was 99 cents a gallon, a Coke was 50 cents and there was no competition for the Outlaws."
Who in their right mind actually prefers less competition in anything in life?

You are bragging about two wins in five tries against a "Mickey Mouse series" Why doesn't he have five wins in five tries against a "Mickey Mouse series?"

Don't be so quick to judge, a lot of the folks on the High Limit side of the equation do the exact same thing.
Tribalism, in an sport (my team rocks & your team sucks!!!) is pretty stupid. It makes people look like middle school girls arguing about Justin Bieber.

It's still unclear to me why Rico isn't five for five with H-L.

Your "old timer fan boys" are a bunch of young whippersnappers!
When I started watching dirt track, Gas was 18-30 cents & a Coke was a dime!
I like both series & think they're pretty even..... until Larson shows up...

I actually find it funny. I watch both series and have been a strong supporter of the WoO. This board, and any other social media site, for the past decades has been filled with hatred and bashing of the practices of the WoO. Every race is a controversy. Every rule is dictatorship. Every race is a money grab for greedy people. Enter the HL series. The savior for all of the WoO bashers. They are going to end all of this "greed" and favoritism. They are going to start working for the blue-collar racer, give lower-budget teams the chance to make bags full of cash, and @#$ the Outlaws!
Way back when the HL started, I said they would never replace the WoO UNLESS they became everything the WoO haters despised. And......................here we are. They are not resorting to "tactics", nor did the WoO. They are not free from mistakes such as the 31 laps vs. 30---they are human. There will be controversy and conspiracy anywhere people want to look---from both series---and this will never end. Just enjoy the races folks. Both of these series put a lot of $$$$ down the road to bring you these shows. You want both of these series to make money---and a lot of money---so the show continues. If both of these "greedy, mony-grubbing, driver-favoring" series go down, this sport is dead.

Thankfully the leader did not change between lap 30 and 31. I noticed Tony's announcing saying last lap, twice.
Justin's take on Dirtrkr is good. Can and should be avoided.

So what is protocol when a 3rd place finisher blows a tire and can't get to the scales with the tire they finished the race with? Seems like people would be crying that they altered the car by touching it to change the tire and not going straight to the scales ? Especially when the scales are in a back fourty location.
