How many rounds of rework to get this show done? I say 3. Track was blowing dust when pushing first flight of hotlaps.

I am following on MyRacePass and noticed the dash lap times were around 1 1/2 seconds slower than qualifying.  I wondered about track conditions.

But, I also noticed that in the High Limit feature the lap times are 2 seconds slower than qualifying. That track cannot be great either.

I was there. I guess everyone sees a different race. I couldn't find anything to not like about the show. Heat races were entertaining. The A main was great. Cars ripping the top, cars on the bottom and cars running the middle. Huge sliders and cross overs. Fast. Heavy traffic. All time record crowd. I say they need another race. I'll make the drive every time.

I thought it was great too, but I'm a little biased since Sheldon's my guy.   There was some very entertaining racing in there.  I personally don't pay attention to the stopwatch once actual racing starts.   I don't even pay serious attention to it in qualifiying unless they're threatening the track record.  As long as it's not dusty to the point we can't see I'm good with it.

Watching the highlights i dont see how it could be any better. Multiple cars passing every lap looked like a spectacular race.

Looks like a dump of a facility but definitely a very unique track which is fast and racy. Wide, high banked tracks usually put on entertaing shows.

Facility is not bad at all.  Really surprised you got that impression.   Was that your first time visiting PIR?  Nice clean bathrooms, they've put a lot of work into the place

What's not to like about a black dirt quarter mile bullring?  That was my top choice after my neighbor missed the IRA Feature by one spot.  I caught all or parts of three Features and had a great night scratching cats.  That's some of my favorite racing.
