Any info on how Earl and his family are? Just haven't heard anything in a while. Hope he and everyone else has a Merry Christmas.

The Million: When the fine
particulates settled in the cool Ohio night, Jac Haudenschild, a Buckeye from
Wooster was the winner of the $200,000 top prize, the largest ever for a
single sprint car feature. "Haud", Stevie Smith, Dickie Gaines, and
J.J. Yeley ran closely together in the waning laps of a highly entertaining 40
lap feature. We couldn't be happier for Haudenschild, an outlaw's outlaw who
added some cash to his family coffers. Repeatedly, Jac put his #4 in places
that others didn't. He bounced off the turn one wall on several occasions. To
be fair, many did run the high groove but nobody was up there as consistently
high as "Haud". If you are scoring at home, the well-traveled
Haudenschild now has to his credit, three Kings Royals, one Historical Big
One, two Gold Cups, and a MOPAR Million victory in his brilliant, and
underrated career. The man can carry a car! …Haud's ride was tuned by Mike
Thurman. The engine was built by Fisher. The chassis was a standard Maxim
four-bar car.

Earl was also at the Late Model Nationals at Knoxville. He used a few swear words to describe the enormity of the crowd and enjoyed himself greatly. He gave the call to start the engines before the finale too. Looked like he had a good time!
Oh yeah...without question the mermaid...
If this post isn't results, stories or something c

A man was sitting in the bar
when he noticed another patron a few stools away. The guy had a body like
Charles Atlas, but his head was the size of a thimble.
The first man said, "Please
excuse me for staring, but I can't help but be curious as to why your body is
so well developed, but your head is so small?"
The man said, "Buy me a
drink and I’ll tell you."
The drink was ordered and the
story began. "I was in the navy and my ship was sunk by a torpedo. I was
the only survivor and I managed to make it to a deserted island a few miles
away. I had been there alone for several months and was sitting on the beach
one day waiting for a bird or fish to come by so I wouldhave something to eat,
looking up I saw a beautiful mermaid sunning on a nearby rock. She swam over to
me and informed me that she was a magical mermaid and could grant me three
wishes. 'Great,' I said. 'I’d like to be rescued.'""She slapped the
water with her tail and a ship appeared, sailing straight for my island. Next I
asked for a body like Charles Atlas. Another slap of the tail and here it is.
Then, noticing how beautiful she was and all my other wishes fulfilled I asked
if I could make love to her. She said no that it just wouldn't work her being
half fish and all. So I said, 'Well, how about a little head then?'"
