Jacob wins the H-L race tonight in Georgia. I thought this was supposed to be the Sweet / Larson / Abreau show. What's going on?

If Jake gets his confidence back and some momentum going maybe he can move back up to the WoO.

I totally agree with what your saying. I know the platinum deal pays well, do the guys on the late model side get the same perks ? Obviously they must not with the drivers that showed up, but, I was just curious what they get.

Absolutely! If he wins at minor league level he can probably compete in the major leagues too.

I'm hoping he gets called back up to the big show.

Is that still the deal? I haven't heard talk about last year's 4 race exception rule. Maybe that's changed with the turn of events?

I wonder how long it will take for someone to challenge the limits of either sanctioning body in a court of law?

Ya court , right. WoO Teams sign a contract of certain terms then sue the other party for expecting them to honor it. Is that an American thing? (Trolling, dont answer that).
But signing a paper with the WoI, (not a typo) with blank spaces for a contract to be written at a later date could possibly end in court, likely to be thrown out based on stupidity.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Congrats Jacob, regardless of how many top teams were in the line up he beat about 6 who often win WoO or WoI, its a great win regardless of the sanctionjng body.

Employees can sometimes be held under a tighter rein that independent contractors. Even NASCAR does not play that silly game of trying to limit where the drivers can race.

Or you mean like in other professional sports where you have limits like riding a motorcycle, surfing or anything else that may result in injury jeopardizing the signed contract?
