Serious question, because it's hard to keep up with:  Does HL have any of these full time drivers signing the dotted line?

If not, I'd be willing to bet the WoO has more drivers run all of their races than the HL has run all of theirs.

high limit seems like it's become the cool thing to do.  getting a guy like rico solidified that.  i've always felt like a lot of these teams just follow along with each other.  one of them gets a cool pit wagon...suddenly everybody has a pit wagon.  one of them gets a cool souvenir trailer...they all have a souvenir trailer.  one of them says "hundred percent" or "we're going to race when it makes sense"...they're all saying the same phrases.

they all of the dream of having a great team so they're trying to act the part.  i don't blame them.  i'd still like to see how this all plays out and how many of them are still around by fall.  the weeknight high limit series lost a lot of steam at the end.  kyle/brad have done a nice job reviving it and getting somebody like rico was clutch.

WoO seems to have painted themselves into a corner by only allowing race teams four events other than theirs.

High limit has a more exciting field of drivers.

The Outlaws aren't going anywhere. High Limit will most likley do fine and provide some good racing much like the All Stars did, just coast to coast. More racing for fans to see and more opportunities for drivers to race can't be a bad thing. Some teams will run a mixture of both. It's shaping up to be an interesting an exciting time in the winged sprint car world....

If Fred Brownfield were still around, I doubt you could say the NST is not around......just saying.  There still would be the outlaws so we would have 2 national series.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Urban Legend - NST was going downhill fast and doomed to failure long before Brownfield passed.

If my memory is correct a lot of the big names that ran with NST we're going back to the Woo the next season.

Not really.  Didn't he die in June?  Those drivers would have stayed if he doesn't die.  Brownfield's death was the end.  If he doesn't die, NST survives.

If they didn't have anything to offer why wouldn't Schucart be joining Uncle Jacob?

Never have understood why some people wish for the demise of the WoO?? They have the most name recognition in the entire sport of sprintcars, have been the backbone of the sport for nearly 50 years! I can't imagine where sprint racing would be without them! I hope they are around and well for another 50 years!

Serious question.....Has PPM ever run a full season in his own #9 car, let alone run a full season on a National Tour? It always seemed he would run the #9 in a handful of races, then jump into another car like the #71 or #11.

What does the WoO have to offer?  The only touring National 410 Sprint Car series that races anywhere near us.  The High Limit is just a television show as many of us don't have a reasonable chance of seeing their live races without taking a long road trip.

A handful of HL homers are pounding social media outlets trying to sway opinions. It's a strategy you see employed elsewhere like politics. The few try to make others (the majority) think they are in the minority. Group think/pressure intended to turn opinions.

Thousands of sprint car fans for years have been excited to go see a collective group of the best drivers compete at events across the country.  Last year the HL social media campaign began trying to influence everyone that the WOO was bad because of the four race limit. That's how it began. Now the HL homers and marketing campaign are full on trying to convince the general populace that HL is great. WOO is bad.

Again just think about it from your own perspective and opinion.  Were you unhappy going to see a WOO race previously? Was the four race exclusion an important issue to you as a fan attending races? Again it is the HL who are trying to create the division and dissatisfaction within the sprint car fans. Because it's in their own best interest...not necessarily yours.

Just keep this in mind as you are influenced to feel like you are in the minority and to change your opinion.

Before HL started I don't remember anyone calling for freedom to run other races. HL starts and now we gotta break the chains that are holding them back. Can anyone name one race before HL that the Woo racers we're hoping to attend but couldn't? All I know is that they eliminated a long running regional series and are trying to diminish the best series this sport has ever had.
