If Rico would announce he's going full time on the High Limit roster, in my opinion that's huge...bigger than whatever their schedule announcement will be

That said, I don't think some are remembering that Larson is primarily only doing mid-week shows for High Limit.  Probably those NASCAR connected events too at Texas etc.

But there will be plenty of weekends without him.  HL needs Rico

Rico was on Gravel's show last night and form what I heard Rico is wanting to see what HL schedule is. I don't think he will go full time HL or Outlaws though. I think he will pick and choose.

I expect much like last year 20 or so will declare they are running high limit for the initial tow money and provisionals and in the end 5 or 6 will run it all.  Sweet, Wise, Bayston, Allen, Eliason? Courtney? Others that declare will peel off once their tracks start point racing like last year.  Just my guess.   Either way it'll bring a new flavor to the big races that all the cars go to to see who cracks the top 10 money list in the end.

Larson and Sweet have to pay Rico big money to follow High Limit or they have nothing to offer on a national level.

They have a few  very good racers following but nobody that is a nationally recognized name except Sweet,  Kahne who has never won an outlaw feature, if he runs the whole series and maybe Allen. Bayston? Good racer but I dont believe he has much of a following.

Where's the draw? HL worked last year because of Rico and Larson. Larson is only part time.

Macedo has to be an outlaw. They have the Tom Tarlton Classic and JJR Racing Classic as Outlaw events next year.

Roth has an $83,000 to win outlaw event. Where is his car going to race?

Schatz? Outlaws have stability even if Donny and Tony aren't happy all the time.

Big time sponsors want an established series.

The 11 car? What nationally recognized driver will they get?

Let's also remember Sweet and Larson are race car drivers with very little business experience, they proved that last year with a lot of misteps running a very limited series.. They have support of some business guys but no history of knowing how to run a business.

They may be waiting to see what develops in Ohio.

I have not really seen a driver list for each series yet (If there even is one). Brad Sweet I asume is no longer WoO and is going High Limit... Just wondering with him being the standing WoO Champion I would think the majority of the High Limit shows would be a Take the Money and Run for him! And will the High Limit schedule curb his appetite for Racing or is he going to invade the WoO shows in true Outlaw fashion?     This is all confusing to me right now!!

As I have read and understand all the stuff out there.  1  High Limit will have the mid week races as a stand alone event. 2. The former All Stars is a seperate series. Seems like folks have not read or do not understand what has been said.

Seems to me the All Star series was bought to eliminate it and there is just one series not two separate ones.

I think 5 or 6 is being very generous.  Time will tell.  We'll revisit next fall.

some little ones, but a big one I feel is Fri/Sat 3-4 May   HL Lakeside KS;   WoO  Let's Race Two Eldora, Ohio.

One that makes 0 sense.   Wednesday 1 May.   HL 81 Speedway, KS.   WoO.  Jacksonville, IL. One of the 2 won't be getting a full field.

WoO has Tulare 83k to win and that overlaps with HL/USAC 4 Crown 2 nights at Eldora.

The 2 day WoO October Sellingsgrove show is up against the HL finale in TX.

Other conflicts  include overlapping events affecting Jackson Nationals, Tusky, for the bigger races.  Other conflicts seem to be spread out distance wise, but will still cause some interesting car counts throughout the season.

I'm a huge Kyle fan... legit, but gotta say boo to HL scheduling against the WoO

Don't see how this is helping overall sport, only hurting

Look how this schedule is going to affect the fans and mid-level owners in the Ohio area that depended upon the All-Star series.  Looks to me they got the shaft in this deal

Gotta agree with all of this. Ohio is bascially getting screwed.

Ohio will be covered by the Fast Series.  The owner of Fast said in a interview that he wants his series to look like the original  All Star series when Bert Emerick had it.

I say the Fast Series is the little brother now of High Limit.

Alliances are being formed.

Tracks probably got super deals to take ,especially; HL weekend racss.

Alot of "under the table " appearance money probably going to be handed out also.

The money will "Flo " at least for this year.

In my view, the legitimate championship contenders, Gravel, Macedo, Schuchart, Haudenschild, Gio, Schatz and McFadden will all stay with the Outlaws. With Sweet out of the way it's now up for grabs. We already know that Gravel, Schuchart, Gio and Haudenschild are definitely staying. McFadden's owner has a race in his name, so i'm sure he'll stay too. Macedo's primary sponsor is right there in the Des Moines area and only the WoO race at Knoxville, so my money is on him staying as well unless the sponsorship situation changes. Winning the WoO championship is prestigious and when High Limit has shot it's bolt and gone away, one of those guys will be able to say that they were champion.

Jacob Allen going to High Limit makes sense. He's a great guy and probably my favorite driver, but he's not a championship contender. He'll make more money against what is likely to be lighter competition with High Limit. As we all know, the big unknowns are Rico and Tyler Courtney. They are the two biggest names who could bolster the High Limit series. I don't think Rico will do it, though. He'll stay above the fray and do what he always does. I have no idea about Courtney. That leaves Kofoid, Marks, Macri and whoever is in the Crouch car. Maybe PPM and a few others as well. Personally I think only Marks and Kofoid are realistic options.

Cedar Lake runs their two day show the last weekend of June.  They have had a WoO date since the early 80's and went to weekends within the last decade.  The High Limit scheduled against them down in Missouri that weekend.  For PA fans that doesn't sound like a big deal but travel distances are further back here and Knoxville's weekly show falls on that Saturday night and is half way between the two races.  Aside from no Sweet, Allen or Kahne there will likely be some splitting of potential 410 teams.  So far that is how High Limit is afrecting two of the three nights the WoO are in the area.

The distance between where race teams are based is more spread out in the Midwest.  The date that pisses me off is High Limit scheduling against Cedar Lake at the end of June in Missouri.  It's a big deal when guys like Brian Brown show up and there are a lot of Sweet, Kahne and Allen fans up here.  They could have picked any weekend to throw a monkey wrench in a long standing event but they had to do it at the end of June.  I don't see how this is "growing Sprint Car racing" when it will do the opposite to some segments of the country.
