Interesting.  Two stops in D/FW area in place of Devils Bowl.   I also like the stop in Muskogee, OK since my daughter lives 20 minutes away...

Since you still live in DFW, do you think that there is enough stands at either of these places?   It has been 15 years since I have been at KSP, but I never thought it had enough stands for a large race.   Did they enlarge the stands somehow?   It has been even longer since I have been to Ennis, but it was just another country track when I went there.   Very surprised by this announcement.

Most shows in Ohio for a long time. Overall the flow of the schedule is probably one of the best they have put out in quite a while.

Got to say my jaw dropped when I saw KSP and a 2 day show.  Never been there, usually went to Cowtown long ago. Stands do not look that big on Google Maps. Amazed all the Texas/Ok tracks on the schedule.

High Limit a month later at TMS, more 410 racing in a month than we usually see in DFW area in 4 years.

I'd guess that the change in promoters at Lawrenceburg played a part in them losing their race but to lose it to Fremont is a slap in the face!
With the promoter likely not decided when this decision was made the City should have stepped up and spoke with the WoO to confirm it would be all systems go in '24

KSP is a very nice facility but no I don't think it's got enough stands.   Unless they're planning on parking cars over on the old Cowtown Speedway grounds there's probably not enough parking either.    Big O is an even bigger surprise.   I hope they're spending the winter doing some improvements to that facility because it's pretty much a rat hole.

I see that the western swing still covers the first week of September. That explains a lot of what I heard about Port Royal losing their dates. I heard that the WOO wanted the Weikert weekend and the Tuscarora Fifty. To do that they must have wanted to move the Tuscarora Fifty to the Oct. dates. Anyone who understands how the track and Fairgrounds are intertwined would know that can't

happen. Without the Tuscarora Fifty weekend the Fair would die and that would change everything about the property, And no, you can't just change the dates of a fair as the county fair dates are all coordinated throuhout the state to avoid conflicts.

As a vendor at the fair I pay close to $400 to be there for the week. Even with the races Sat.,Mon.,Thur.,Fri. I figure to sell as much the day of the Tuscarora Fifty as I do the other seven days combined. Without that weekend I and many other vendors  would not waste the week there and the fair would be nothing more than a local fire Company carnival. That would end many of the perks that the property has with the State.as the Juniata County Fair is one of the longest running fairs in the State.

So if the WOO had planned to use that to push High Limit out of Port Royal then it is their fault that they are not at Port Royal this year.

Is Lawrenceburg even going to exist anymore? They just auctioned everything off...all the concession equipment, track prep equipment, etc. They even did away with their Facebook page and its now simply Lawrenceburg Events Center.

I think someone posted on another thread that Lawrenceburg was gone.

Who is taking over Lawrenceburg Speedway?

The group is led by Dearborn County Sheriff Shane McHenry. "Our family is excited to announce that STM Motorsports is indeed us," said McHenry. "We still need to finalize the contract with the city but we were approved as the new promoters of Lawrenceburg Speedway tonight at the city council meeting.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Speedway has a new promoter.

The City of Lawrenceburg on Monday approved a resolution establishing STM Motorsports, Inc. as the new operators of Lawrenceburg Speedway.

Lawrenceburg Speedway, which is owned by the City of Lawrenceburg, was operated by Dave and Kim Rudisell from 2007 until the end of the 2023 season.

The City advertised and published a Request for Qualifications inviting proposals from potential promotors to operate the speedway. STM Motorsports was the lone entity to submit a proposal.

We will have a formal announcement soon and answer a lot of questions that everyone wants to know about the schedule and classes. We are looking forward to a successful 2024 racing season."

As part of an agreement with the City, STM Motorsports will operate the Lawrenceburg Speedway for a period of four years with a renewal option.

“We are very excited to announce that we have found a new promotor for the Lawrenceburg Speedway and it is their mission to have racing continue for the 2024 racing season and into the future,” said City Attorney Del Weldon. “The Lawrenceburg Speedway has such a rich history and incredible racing tradition. It means so much to so many people and we have worked really hard for those folks to make sure we did everything possible to keep the track open. We are looking forward to partnering with STM Motorsports and many more years of racing at the Lawrenceburg Speedway.”

Didn't some troll on here (the same guy who says Tanner Holmes is the main candidate for about 12 rides) say there were runors Selinsgrove was closing? Now they have the biggest race at the facility in 30 plus years.

WoO Sprint and Super Dirt Car Series both on the schedule. Wonder if Selinsgrove is going to be a Dirtvision track in 2024?

For the record they only moved the Bridge at Williams Grove speedway ,

They did not move the speedway to CA.

HAHA good scheduals for both WOO and HL see them chasing eachother all year so good racing all year IMO.

How many 410's exist on a local/regional level in the TX/OK area that may attend these races?  I'm not familiar with the series that run there, or the tracks that have 410 racing.

Blake Hahn, Wayne Johnson, Noah Gass have 410's. Baughman in west texas. Any others?

There isn't any 410 races here. Even the 360 cars with 305's in the field there may be 24 at the track.
