I tend to prefer FLO over Dirt vision. One thing is dirt vision is now $299.00 a year as opposed to $150.00 on FLO (last time I checked it was) so that is a huge issue.  Early on FLO had way to much buffering, pain in the ass for sure, frustrating.  I  bought ROKU at best buy for $29.00 at best buy and stream through their channel, no more issues.

So, which is best or you?

Almost fogot . High Limit and Lucas oil are now partening with High Limit so there is that...

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Life is good...

I don't have any preference.  My only challenge is getting the $299 past my "accountant".  They offered a renewal deal for Black Friday and I got busy and I had something else going on yesterday and forgot all about it.  I guess I would have got close to $100 off by renewing nine months early yesterday.  I am a day late and $100 short so now I can cuss myself out in August when it's back up to $299.

As far as the quality I don't even think about it.  That's akin to saying what is best Netflix or Hulu.  They all have unique content that they offer.  Dirtvision for Jackson specials, Knoxville and Husets weekly.  Floracing for IRA, High Limit and USAC.  I tend to avoid shows with too many support classes.  Back gate promoting is not allowed to tarnish my Man Cave.

because FLO covers usac racing that was my game breaker...midgets and sprints and silver crown...that includes a lot of racing not just the outlaw races

I only follow the WoO so it's Dirtvision for me. The other would be a waste of money. After watching WoO every Friday and Saturday  no time to watch anything else.

I hate paying the money (lol) but I would hate it even more if I was missing lots of races in the sport I love, so I have both.....

I am somewhat new to streaming since we did not have fast enough internet available until recently.  I have worked for 45 years and still work a little in the sports Televison business. Mainly doing the bigger sporting events. MLB, NBA, NFL, Regional Sports Networks, college sports, etc. A little racing.

I have Flo and enjoy it. They cover a lot of the events/classes I like to watch.  Their production varies from decent to pretty poor. The audio for streaming services seem to have no standards for levels. They are all over the place.

Many of their announcers are not very good. They talk to much and to fast. There is one woman that screams a lot. She is often on the IRA 410 races. Thank god for the mute button.

At $300 for Dirt Vision  that helped me try Flo first which I am glad I did.

It caught me at a bad time of the year.  My wife just spent two weeks in Italy and has a pretty big budget for Grandkid gifts.  I have DV so that's not an issue.  There are several other non racing Black Friday deals I'd love to take advantage of as well.  Just all comes at me at the same time and I can't do them all.  Thanks, I will count my beans and see if I can make it work.

Stan,

Go to the DirtVision manage subscriptions page. Do you have the annual FastPass? It should allow you to input BLACKFRIDAY2023 and give you the discount for when your annual pass is scheduled to renew not today.

This is exactly what I did last year and can confirm this past July I only paid the discounted rate and that is exactly what I expect to happen again in July 2024.

DirtVision for me.   I had both and just wasn't that impressed with Flo, so I cancelled it.   I wasn't impressed enough with the High Limit stuff to consider keeping it.

I got Dirtvision first, then when Flo had usac midget week, I got that too. they both have strong points. So, if you can afford it, get both. Less than 10 dollars a week, for both. My wife loves racing, too. So there is no problem spending the money. We each put 10 dollars in a can, every week. Don't miss it, and the money is there, for the subscriptions, plus money to go out to eat, when there are big races, and don't want to cook. Like, Chili Bowl, midget week, and Knoxville Nationals.

Depends on what kind of racing you prefer, winged or "traditional"

I get both! Smile

I have both. Started out with Flo, because of the price, but then wanted to get the Knoxville Nationals so it made sense to get an annual subscription to Dirtvision.  Now that I have Dirtvision I watch it the most but like Flo as well for USAC.  Dirtvision seems 'slicker' to me in terms of number of cameras etc, however I like the way Flo has the A main packaged up the next day.

Yeah, having both is a bit of an expense.  But when I compare that to what I spent for years on traditional cable TV and how much I actually watched... Now  I have internet, a cheap streaming package (Philo) and DV and FLO.  I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

You are describing me. I feel the same way. Like having both.

Can't keep your pulse on the sport, if you don't have them both.

Both are good.  I have both but watch  WOO on dirtvision more than Flo, but have watched all of the west coast midget races in last 2 weeks.  It will be hard next year to decide one to watch at times if on same nights.

The beauty of streaming is you can watch them later so no need to miss anything.

I also have MAVTV in addition to Flo. This makes for a good amount of racing.

This is like asking "NHL or NFL Network?  Which is better?"    Depends on if you like hockey or football.  I like the World of Outlaws, so if I decide to subscribe to only 1, I do DV.

It's apples or oranges. Depends on what you want to watch.
