Tip of the cap to that young man. If you didn't know about him yet, I bet you do now.

Us folks in Texas been watching him for a couple years or more. This is not surprising to us at all. The kid is awesome for sure.

He's been on my radar since his sprint invaders win at Dubuque when he was 16. Nothing but improvements from there too.

He is the winningest driver at Husets this year and probably on his way to a points championship.
That's no easy task for a newcomer.

While the hype for all these kids is over the top (remember when Gio Scelzi was going to be better than Larson?) I do think Randall has been overlooked for whatever reason compared to Day and Timms. That will likely change now.

If you'd like to see Chase run a G-W-C race from 2 years ago and shooting up huge rooster tails on the high-speed high-banks of LoneStar, check out this video. He starts 6th:
https://youtu.be/czgDhcTypbo
I like being outside the booth in the stands when I announce, so you can't hear anything in the video but sprint cars during the race itself (as a fan in the stands I like that better anyway), but it was a really fun race to call and witness. The feature that night was even wilder...for some reason, I can't find that video to upload.
Continued best of luck to their family and team. They're great for the sport.

Another vote for Day as more likely, but I only think that because he seems to have a bit more crazy in the aggressive way he drives. I would rather see a technical driver like Randall be successful. Racing needs more Schatz-like drivers, not Macedos that are going to get someone hurt.

sEEN ALOT OF HIM UP NORTH IN IOWA. HE IS VERY GOOD AND FULL OF DESIRE TO BE GOOD. THE GREAT DRIVERS ARE ALWAYS WITH GREAT TEAMS. A GOOD TEAM WILL NOTICE YOU AND WANT YOU. DO NOT GO WITH A TEAM ON TOUR THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH SO THAT YOU CAN SHOW YOUR TALENT.

Don't be so quick to crown this kid. Didn't look so hot at the High Limit Race this evening as he did not make the A main.....and it wasn't close. Easy to boast about a driver who does well at tracks they know. The truth shows when they start to travel. All of you folks that harp on the posse when they leave the porch, we'll Chase left the porch and he loaded up early!!

As a counterpoint, I believe Chase sat on pole for High Limit at Wayne County earlier this season. Gotta take all stats into consideration, not just one night.

Larson, Sweet, Gravel, Abreu,.....he is not in their class yet. These drivers produce EVERYWHERE!! When was the last time this quartet missed the A Main! Sure, we can watch for an up and coming driver, but you may wait a long time to crown him an Outlaws Champ!!

He's not as young as Randall or Day but another younger driver that I thought was real impressive this year was Garet Williamson...
