Was wondering the same. It looked like he was knocked out for a while there. Last report was that he was awake and being transported to the hospital. Haven't seen any updates yet.

Also looking for an update. Saw the wreck on Flo and didn't look serious at all. Feel like something had to have came through the cage. Prayers for him and his family. Hoping for a full recovery

On the radio post-race show they thought it might be an arm injury.

Thanks guys for the update! Looked for some tweets but saw none after getting back from the Ozarks trip. While not great that sounds like an injury that should heal with time.

Injuries were per Facebook post from their racing page include: Puncture wound to his arm, 3 broken ribs, a slight pneumothorax of his lung and a complex break of his scapula that will require surgery. Lots going on there but full recovery is expected. Had to look up what a pneumothorax was cause I'm not a doctor nor very smart but sounds like it's when air is escaping the lungs into your chest cavity between your organs and muscles. Can be due to puncture or extreme pressure to the chest cavity which there was with the broken ribs. Idk if that's the same as a collapsed lung but I'm guessing similar. Just wanted to update on here.

AKA a "sucking chest wound". I remember being at Ft. Dix playing soldier and we were doing first aid/buddy care scenarios and they handed us index cards with an injury on them. I was treating my buddy for an imiginary sucking chest wound when the Sergeant came up to evaluate us.
He asked me what I was treating and I told him a chest wound. He asked me if it was a sucking chest wound. I replied "I'm pretty sure all chest wounds suck Sergeant!" He was unamused. I did push ups til I couldn't lift my face off the dirt lol.

I heard a bar off of Sammy's car came into his cockpit, freak accident. Hope Davie has a speedy recovery.
