First race in the car is July 27 at Lake Ozark. He's set to drive the car through the Jackson Nationals.
Another driver to be announced will compete on July 25 in the High Limit race at Grandview.

I'm glad to see Justin Sanders getting a chance here. Between this and High Limit, he's getting his name out there. Very cool.

I'm getting a kick out of all of the people in the comments of the Macri Facebook page saying they've never heard of Sanders even though he just won the Skagit Dirt Cup last month and made the Knoxville Nationals A-Main last year. The kid has some real talent.
Some folks just don't pay attention to the world around them.

I don't have access to Facebook currently. Did it say if they will run the same type of schedule as Anthony ran in it prior to this, or will they just race primarily Central PA (probably a given they will be at Knoxville)?
I think he's a great choice for the 39M. Hope he does well in the car.
Still just seems so weird though.

They really only anounced a three week deal during which they seem to be going to follow Anthony around to where he already anounced he would be. I am not sure if that was all on their schedule with Anthony especially the Allstar races. They are second in High Limit owner points so I guess they are going to still compete for that.

I would suspect that if the TEAM set a schedule in March to follow, the team follows the schedule regardless who is driving and regardless who is wrenching. Of course some alteration may be required but changing a staff member rarely changes the business plan.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Well they've already missed a few races including this weekend Woo races don't want to speculate but this is starting to look a little personal.

Sanders NOT driving at Grandview High Limit due to prior commitment ( to Swindell ???). But someone will be driving it at Grandview. Wonder who?
Sanders is a good choice but there are some young, fast Central PA guys that could make it go if they got the chance.
I can see Knoxville track time but why chase the All Stars in the midwest when there's a better than good chance to make more money on the porch? Maybe that's where the "personal" thing may come in.
Jus sayin

Next week Port has twin 25s both paying 10gs I would almost guarantee that team would be there for that. If Anthony was still in it

The schedule basically mirrors Anthony's. This is sad considering how much this family team has accomplished.

Macri runs 14th at Allstar show.
Sanders passes Solwold with 2 to go to win in Skagit.

Well, well, well. Ok so the old man is pissed at the kid for whatever the reasons are. He gets a kid from the farthest point west and decides to run the same shows his kid is running. You can't make this shit up. I will never understand why you wouldn't give a driver from the area a chance. Can you imagine the stories if the 2 of them have a on track dust up. I can see a failed slider happening.

The Macri team raced with the All Stars at I-70 and Knoxville in 2022, so it's at least possible that the 3 All Star shows were already on the team's schedule before the split. I know it's not juicy tabloid speculation but let's at least be fair instead of assuming pops is out to get son.
