Well after eight years of hard work and a ton of money, Owner Scott Gobrecht & GM Kolten Grouse get to show off their efforts to the rest of the world as they bring back the WoO sprints cars to BAPS after a 31 year hiatus tonight. For those of you not familar with the track, the facilities were in bad shape. They replaced the grandstands, installed suites, put new catch fencing all the way around, new lighting, installed a video board and lastly installed a new flag stand. I hope they are rewarded with a large crowd and some great racing. The Posse fans have appreciated the transformation over the years, now it is time for the rest of the country to see.

Rain, postponed to Thursday night. Maybe they can show it off then. From what I saw on dirtvision before the rain started the place looked real good!

Steve Post did a good interview with Scott on Winged Nation. For those of you who don't know, Scott is Kevin's brother. Hope they get the race in tonight and it's a success.

A man can't have long hair, a female can't race a sprint car and a Canadian can't have an opinion. And all others are opinionated and can't spell. But don't call anyone a name.  I probably will misspell this word, hypocrite???? But do I care?  Troll?, this time, yes!

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Not to divert the conversation from the ever important hairstyle choices for grown men, but... Logan looked really fast in hot laps and qualifying yesterday, looking for McFadden to keep his quiet hot streak alive tonight.   Good luck to all the racers, headed to the track now then the long 7 hour drive home for the weekend.

i believe the phrase "don't throw stones if you live in a glass house" may apply in this situation.  if you rip somebody you're asking to get ripped in return.

all the mrn guys have gotten a bit big for their britches over the years once fans started taking notice to their joking around on the scanner at races.  they started to think they're entertainment personalities of some sort.  dave moody has had to insert his foot in his mouth a few times.

BUT...i agree steve post is generally very good for the sport.  we're lucky to have a well known member of the racing media pushing pa sprint car racing.  he turns out for it too.  a few years ago he ran the greg hodnett 5k.

the baps social media team has made the track look bush league this week.  the larson land podcast twitter page clearly put lason as unconfirmed for the baps and grove races.  the baps team ran with it like he was defintely going to be there.  larson called them out and then they rubbed it in his face with a tweet yesterday when he showed up anyway.  probably better to just keep your mouths shut and be happy he came.  the podcast guys were apologetic but they did absolutely nothing wrong and unfortunately might give up sharing any information they might have.  it's not a great look when what should be a professionally run race track looks like the amateurs compared to a couple guys doing a podcast.

I don't know what this has to do with what I said about someone on here constantly insulting other people. But that said if someone puts their foot in their mouth on social media about Larson or anything else then that's on them.

Actually Rod, you spelled hypocrite correctly!   I actually spell it hippa-twit in honor of Tweety!  ;-)

Kevin's accident was a tragedy, with Ricky Warner you would have never heard of Donnie Shatz.  Hodnett's accident was caused by mechanical failure and  the hit was going to be extremely bad no matter were it was on the track.   For the Gobrect family to stay involved in dirt track racing as they do is commendable.  They pd a hefty price to get the outlaws, it needs some tweeking, only time will tell if they get it right. To say they profited over any misfortune, you must be an ass hat.

Anyone like when being interviewed a fan put the shark hat on logan. Being the pro that he is he quickly dumped it off to the side. Bobby A. has to be proud of those 2 young men. Come on Jacob, get after them at the grove.
