WOW, this is an expensive two nights of racing just to make $125 for making the show!! I loved racing at the PAS with VRA in the past, but this is way to much for us to tow over. If it was two complete nights of racing, pit passses at @$25-$30, and pay around $200 the first night and $300 the second night, we would be there for sure. Man, it cost you $165 just for the car owner to get in the pits for the two days! Making the show does not even pay back a car owner for his entry and TWO days of pit passes for himself.
I hope to see many Caly cars at Tucson for the December 29th and 30th race. This is a fun two complete days of racing, good purse, and a great night life after the shows. Hope to see many cars there.

I was excited about this race until I seen the format.
1 Race combined into 2 days
2 days of pit passes
$85 dollar entry fee
$50 to B main non qualifiers - What about the rest of the racers that dont make it to the B main
$2000 to win - ASCS Canyon Region races weekly for a minumum $1000 to win and $200 to start
Sounds like they are using the 360's to pay the USAC/CRA purse.

Its unfortunate that the PAS has left the rules so open. I know of two people that will be there with an all aluminum, down nozzle, 15 degree 360 (with the gasket) But the reality is,... us average guys just cant compete with that kinda horspower. Not to mention cockpit adjustable shocks and suspention compnents. Im a local guy and could get there and back on a hundred bucks of gasoline but ather the $85 entry fee, Driver, owner, and crew chief pit passes your talkin about $325 just to get in. now add fuel,..($100), a hotel for the night..($100), food, and soda at track the for two days ($100) and the 100 for gasoline to get to the track and a tire,...
thats $900.00 to run against $35,000 dollar engines, cockpit adjustable shocks and suspention components. My guess is that there will be 12 cars at best. To bad they priced the local 30 cars right outta the deal.
ill read about the event here on SCRAFAN.com
Good luck to all

Ok,you 360 guys deserve the disrespect your getting.Your to lazy to get off your duffs and do the hard work of forming your own organization andget the respect you deserve. Chris Wakum proved a good 360 could run hard at Perris, and he proved it at the Ovals against some of the best 410 drivers in the country. Now I have a question, why does every group spec. a different right rear. It's a non wing sprint car we're ,a little bigger motor/ a little smaller motor, it's still a sprint car.Wakum proved his 360 would turn a dt3 just fine[steam is boiling of his right rear at perris].I'm tired of having to ask 'what tire do you spec' every time I run with a different group or a different track. You come to the track, and hope the tire guy shows up and has what you need.Hoosier DT3 on the right rear universally ,any track any group,360 or 410 in California. Lifes to short, get rid of some of the grief.Opposing comments are welcome,I have always learned more from listening than talking.Did I read it right,Purse Based On 45 Car Count, tell me the payout based on the30 cars USAC averages at Perris.PLEASE!!!!
