Sooners #3 in both polls. Don't think there is a chance they make it, but it would be cool.

Heaven is when you sit down in that seat, strap on
that harness, dial the steering wheel, and flip up
that toggle. When you hear that engine start, nothing
else matters anymore; you're in Heaven.

I don't think Va. Tech is better than OU at all. No disrespect meant but could this be a sympathy vote deal? I thought all along yesterday that an OU vs. VTU in the fiesta bowl would'a been a good one. I just don't know how talented WVU is actually. I know about Slaton and White but can they match up with OU? I think VTU is better all around.

I'm in agreement with skeesiks.............but I think it was b/c VT did win the ACC AND there strength of schedule was #3.......OU was like 39th I think. I think that may have decided it for the computers.
I think the BCS Title game ended up as it should......many arguments I heard otherwise thought the Hawaii should have went b/c they were undefeated.......I think those folks probably watched MAYBE 2 games this entire year. But I do think the BCS ended up ok IN THE END - but after seeing every 1 and 2 ranked teams go down a new york secong after attaining that rank - couple with how closely talented and competitive the top 10 or 15 are - a playoff would be perfect for this year. And in that playoff I think Ohio St. would go out 2nd game they played - and I also think Florida would be just another to have a shot to win that.
I know I'm inching ever closer to making champ50 blow a gasket - but I never Ohio St. do much this year. It was a conference FULL of Northwesterns. I'm split on the Buckeyes......everything considered I think they do belong in the title game - but on the other hand - USC, OU, VT, and others are playing much better right now.
But screw it - I need to quit goin on and on bout it - because unlike the last 4 or 5 years - I'm really satisfied and looking forward to all the bowl matchups. especially the smaller ones - in years past most have been blowouts - I think there will be a few more close ones this year. In fact, ya'll go check out yahoo.com on their NCAAF page - and it ranks the bowl games from top to bottom - even the last ranked ones I think will be fun to watch. Not to mention my anxiety b/c my family and a couple of friends will be doing the 4th annual Bowl Shootout where 10 of us throw down 20$ and pick on all the bowl games......if any ties into the BCS Title game we pick in true sports betting fashion with spread + over/under. We go over the top with it and even have what amounts to a banquet a few days after the Chili Bowl where the top 3 get money and prizes and everybody eats at Las Fajitas in Yukon and runs their mouths about football and other sports. As ya'll could imagine - yes - I organize and preside over the whole thing. it is pretty fun though...........the Chauffuer (my g/f) actually won it 2 years ago. she doesn't like to hear us say it was a fluke.....but...........
Anybody else do stuff like that?
