Gio wins, 4 of the top 5 were invaders. The posse took a bit of a spanking.

Wonder why Kofoid didn't come back out for top 3 post-race interviews?

I am pretty sure Buddy had to hustle out as he is scheduled to run Wayne County Speedway in Illinois tonight with the USAC midgets.
Yes the Posse took a thumping last night by the invaders, but it might have been a whole different race if both Dietrich and Macri didn't have problems in their heats while leading, which kept them out of the redraw. As it was, both passed 15 cars in the feature to finish 4th & 6th...just sayin'

Maybe because the interviewer (forgot his name) always puts his arm around who he is talking to. Drives me nuts.

Kind of like Dietrich did at Selinsgrove the other week. He finished second and didn't stop for the interview.

Icebreaker is a 2 day show next year, a bit optimistic they'll have the weather right for the show but Lincoln seems to be stepping it up next year with this and the Dirt Classic.

Forgot the USAC midgets were running in Illinois this weekend. Wonder if this will be Kofoids last season running a midget full time.
Peck and team also had a long overnight tow to get to the northwest corner of Ohio at Fremont for tonight's All Star race.

This is what makes the rivalry so good. Tonight the Posse did the spanking.

And for the second straight time Port had a great surface all night long..... let's see if Razor Steve can go for the trifecta.

You miss a lot of good racing over silliness. Don't say I watch the highlites because that is not like being there. You are not one of those who have been told to stay off the property are you? I know there have been few who don't know how to behave like normal human beings.

Nope I missed 2 or 3 great features at Port this year. The rest were ok at best. If they kept the track in the 15 second bracket at the beginning of the night like the last two races I would be tempted to give it a try again. But we all know Razor Steve can't make it that way very often.
I have seen better racing most nights at other tracks from right here in central Pa.

If they aren't in the 15 second bracket at the beginning of the night.........
No, I have a car that gets really good gas mileage to Lincoln, Selinsgrove, and Williamsgrove. All further away than Port Royal.....my car get horrible gas mileage with the track only 15 minutes away from my front door. If Razor Steve ever wakes up and prepares the tracke week in - week out the way it should be it will be tempting for me to return.
There best/excellent 3 races were when the cars were in the 15 second bracket during warmups or TT. That is a fact. I have them documented on my results page. I also have eyes to watch the replays/highlights from each night.

By far 2 of the best track preparations the Port had all year. Why can't they do that every week???

Cool weather helped. One of few things Strawser is right about is that they should start later in June, July And August.

Yes I agree with the later start time. I believe that benefits Lincoln track surface.

They could if they wanted to.....add more water to the surface and start later. With how hard they run these tracks in in today's sprintcar world, you need the extra water down in the clay. You can have it each week but it would cause more work to get it there.
