I dont think anyone will pick up modifieds that run at grandview on saturday night they could run bridgeport or new egypt and maybe Baps will run have them there on occasions but probably 70 percent of grandview regulars live 20 miles from the track and only run there been like that for years. I am sure they will have no problem finding an alternative track for pa speedweek

Yea, thats sad & I hope you're wrong about modifieds
They have lots of loyal fans there & its packed every time I go. I only go for sprint cars, but it seems like at least half of the huge crowds are local modified fans.
& You're right about Speedweek.... but i'll miss that place. Always seems to have highly competitive races when I go...

Bring back path valley. You always hear the term, a seat of the pants feel, well let me tell you. That banked 1/4 mile plants u in the seat through the corners. 25 laps at that place takes a lot out of you

The best 410 racing, whether it be WoO, ASCoC or just the Posse Invasion race, is at Bridgeport Speedway. Hey Hagerstown isn't in Pa, and Bridgeport is right across the PA/NJ line. Racing blows Hagerstown away. The mods are awesome there too.

Nope.... They have a serious parking and seating problem there they need to fix first. I tried to go during the last-time they hosted a speedweek show and there were 100s of people that couldn't get a seat because of the stupid ass people that think its ok to put down a 10' blanket just for themselve plus their x3 beer coolers. Coolers don't need a seat and when I mentioned it to a view folks in their drunken stupor bitched about getting there eariler. I have a bad back and have two fused discs with more on the way curtosy of Uncle Sam. Plus I had my 5 year old with me at the time. I'm not gonna get there 3 hours early just to get a seat. I Said fuck it and tried to leave but some jack wagons boxed me in and wouldn't come out to move their truck. I'll be damned if I'm gonna deal with that bullshit again.

Path Valley had added seating.and are making improvements. For people with disabilities maybe inquire about a special seating area or ask how they can help you. I just have to laugh at the people that show up to big events at 6-7 pm and expect to get a good parking spot or seat nobody to blame but yourselves on that one. Path aslo has reserved parking/seating areas.

I'm sorry to hear that, sounds awful
But I've always enjoyed the place & hope they have Speedweek races (easier with an OK back & no 5 yr. old, obviously)
Agreed, its kind of a hillbilly track but I kinda like that

Latest info I've got is that there will be racing at Grandview next year. Back on the Speedweek schedule for next year.

It's pretty good info considering Grandview has been posting about it.

Their main online presence is through facebook which I don't have. I heard it, so I thought I'd pass it along.

The company that was pursuing the purchase backed out so I think it's dead for now.
