Any update on PPM ? They did not mention much on Dirtvision, but he was transported to the hospital.

Sucks to hear that about PPM, hope he has a quick recovery. Glad Hickle wasn't injured. His car looked even worse.

Did anyone see the entirity of this wreck? I was at the track and only saw the last half. It was very strange to see the car that was in a 1000 pieces that the driver got out OK, but the other car that looked relatively OK was the one with the injury. Someone on Twitter said that PPM landed like Kevin Swindell did and that was the cause of the problems. Can someone confirm?

It looked like a slow roll but a hard landing. Kevin likened it to being dropped from how ever many feet in the air and landing on your tailbone. Theres only so much force the body can take. I thought we had made the seats safer but it sounds like we have a little ways to go.

After the swindell crash I cringe every time I see a car land like that. Those flat on the frame landings are worse than a car flipping like crazy.

Dammit, PPM doesn't need any more health issues. Praying for him

Sprint car driving friend of mine cracked two vertebrae a couple of years ago in what he called the easiest endo he'd ever done. He said the car came down very hard on it's tail causing the injuries. Thankfully he was okay without surgery and took the rest of the season off.
Can't recall where or who but someone has come out with some "rubber" pads that mount under the seat and are supposed to give more support for the lumbar area of the back. Sure that someone on here knows more about this than me.
