The guy is promoting his races. He is also doing a DAMN goodjob of It too! Rather than posting some crying about rules in a class that he doesn't even have a car in, he is on several websites and forums posting info and updates on his races.
If you get a chance between all your postings, you should come out and see for yourself what a great show this man puts on!! Cause we all know you have NO racecar to spend your time working on.

EASY Dude, your starting to piss people off around here. That job is left for Larry, David_J, and me.
By the way, what's with the reference to Obama? That stupid son of a bitch would not even acknowledge the National Anthem at a recent Democratic convention. His name should not be allowed here or anywhere else much less on the list of Presidential candidates.

wtf does me having a race car have to do with anything?
and why in the hell could no one see that I was joking?
I wouldn't think you would be very open to a rules discussion in any class Larry............with all they don't check at sfs didn't you still manage to get dq'd for an illegal tire? and btw is it wrong of a fan to talk on a race forum about the status of rules for cars they pay to watch? it's surely better than knockin on some guy coming to this forum trying to sell his car. whether it was crap or not. or you commenting on the contents of Jimmy Taylor's ass.
as for the amp series and fella that promotes them that it was thought I was talkin crap on - I wouldn't mind seeing one of em sometime - especially between football this weekend and the start of bowl games. after seeing the stuff at the Tulsa Shootout last year - it was all pretty fun to watch. I really wasn;t meaning to down the guy or his series. I was meaning to make humor on 22 replies to ones own thread. despite the fact that was taken in negatively - it wasn't meant for that. If amp found offense to that I would/do apologize - but that apology doesn't extend over to someone always lookin to deliver punch lines.

hey man thats just my pick for pres. does not have to be yours. I like him based on his thoughts, views, policies just as many of you like or dislike others for the same reasons. but c'mon man - you don't want really want to get me goin on politics do you? lol.
I reject the pissin people off claim. I don't even get where Neighbors came off with all that. I'd hope any with some common sense would see it was a joke - I mean maybe it wasn't a very good one at all.....but what he rambled off on had nothin to do with what I said. of course it does not come as much of a surprise either.
I don't understand where the ouch or strikes again even comes into this. Mind-boggling that anyone thinks thats some sort of bitch slap. If it is - the intelligence level here ain;t runnin very high anymore. Because unlike each one who thinks that was some sort of great bitch-slappin insult.......... hell no I don't have car, I don't make parts that go on em, I don't even know many who do, and I don't know or run with anyone who drives em or builds em. In short, I have no interest in anything except being a fan of sprint car racin. which is maybe why I deliver my thoughts without being afraid of who it pisses off. Most the regulars on here aren;t JUST fans - so it comes as no suprise that when I basically get insulted for that - that so many get a kick out of it. that and some are just brown nosers and yes men.never a shortage of those.......................
NOW!!!!!! I have pissed off everybody. with every intent to as well.

The Indoor series races have been tons of fun for our staff and I to produce. It is also an excellent platform for racer development, helping to hone and improve driving and riding skills for youth class participants, educate new racers of rules and regulations and race formats, involve local businesses and introduce them to motorsports while providing great memories for all involved. Many of the staff of the series work for other race organizations such as COMMA, SCCA, CMRA, during the summer months. The Indoor races are different and provide additional work for those involved in the production, plus provide more important seat time for the participants. We are all proud to be a part of Grass Roots Sportsman racing in the Oklahoma area.
The OK Corral Indoor Arena began hosting races in 1972, the late Randy Cleek from Shawnee, Oklahoma won the first Pro Class Motorcycle races held at the historic barn, then called Johnson’s ‘Arena. Cleek later became a factory rider for Yamaha and rode under the Bell Ray Oil banner. He and the owner of Bel Ray Oil and others were killed in a tragic traffic accident while the team was in Italy participating in an International FIM Road Race. Other stars to come out of the Indoor Winter series races included the late Eddy Daley, Scotty Adams, Charlie Smith, Billy Herndon, the late Ted Boody, the late Bret Brady among others. Folks that some of you may know that have raced in the Barn include Aaron Lemmons, Alan Lemmons, Shane Carson, Scotty Adams, Billy Boismier among a very long list of participants since 1972.
www.randycleek.com
www.tedboody.com
Since we began the new Series at the OK Corral Indoor Arena we have awarded over 40 My First Race Trophies to new racers who participated in their very first race ever at the AMP Outlaw Winter Nationals Indoor Short Track Series. This trophy was designed and devoleped and named after a young racer who entered their very first race after contemplating racing for a few months. They drove 50 miles to a track, she raced and then received no award for her efforts as the track ran short of trophies in a few classes. Tears came streaming and it was a long dirve home for her and her family. Upon learing this, we designed the "No More Tears" trophy in her honor and it became the "My First Race" trophy. Her family, the Medranos and their business Quality Landscape donated the first money to get the project rolling. The trophies are as tall as a First Place Trophy and have become a cherrished award for dozens of first race young and old participants in the series.
Because we have a 14 Round Series, I find it easier to keep one thread running on the entire series, changing the date on the top post to keep it current. I post the results, story, photo links and other information on that same thread as to keep it tied together. This avoids someone that may do a Google, Yahoo, or other search engine search on the Series from landing on an individual post and not picking up on the entire content, taking something out of context and being confused or misled. That is another reason I try to put the Year on everything we publish, write or post online. On forums that move the thread to the top based on the last post I use this system. On forums that require a new post and do not move an existing post I am forced to cut and paste all the other threads together and combine in a longer post.
I get calls regarding dates, as we have produced this current series for the past 5 years, I have been producing Indoor Short Track races since 1982, people call up wanting to know why we are producing a race on a Tuesday night, in reality they are reading a post from several years back. I constantly get phone calls regarding tracks where we have produced races from people thinking we are the track owner/promoter. I get phone calls regarding the Shoot Out, Chili Bowl, Tulsa Arenacross, Darryl Starbird Show and other motorsports related events. Mostly because I have written articles and mentioned a racer that may of placed in or won one of those events, and produced AMA Pro-AM Arenacross in one and produced the FMX programs for four events.
A few of the Forums I post on are picked up by RSS, AP, and other Press News Feeds, and are search-able by popular search engines. This can be good thing for people that have good reading comprehension and can comprehend what is written in it's entirety, but can also be a problem when read by folks that only read one sentence and don't read the paragraph or entire article or thread.
That is the reason I try to combine the Ad for the event on the top Post, along with the Results, Stories, Photo Links and Video Links all in the same thread, thus the multiple responses. I trust that helps to clarify why I do that.

I applaud AMP for posting like he does. I personally scan through it to see if any names I recognize and go from there. If I ever need a racing fix, I know where to look for dates during the winter. And I just may do that.
Larry tells it as it is and the great thing about it is that everybody knows who it is posting and he would tell the same face to face. "The villin" comment was to reaffirm his nickname. I have personally known Larry for forteen years now and I like Larry and consider him one of my friends. I just learn when he pops off to kinda popoff back so the Villin in him don't bother me like it does most.
Just remember, and this is for everybody, if your going to slam somebody in the wall that your opening yourself up for the same sooner or later. Sometimes it is just better to leave well enough alone.
As far as this bored being quiet and slow during the winter, "Are you kidding me?"
