Note: this is a thread about late model verses sprint car track prep. It is not a thread for a sandbox fight. If that's your need, please go somewhere else.
At Bristol, the sprints were kind of a fast, follow the leader race. The late model race, on the other hand, involved a lot of actual racing. Somebody on here metioned that big-block modifieds could have followed either class and put on a good show.
How is the track prep different between sprints and late models? Or big-block modifieds?
Would the races have been different if the order of the feature races had been switched?

I've always thought that LM's race better on a tacky track while sprints - especially todays cars, race better on a dry slick. I'd say that's even more true on the big tracks. I doubt that it would have made Bristol racey by any stretch but it would have almost certainly made it better.
