Thanks Bill ! Good for Brownie. Never thought about Kinser having that many wins there, he's pretty far up on the list at the Grove too.

Congrats Brian! I always enjoy when I get to see you race. Whether here in PA or at the Nationals!
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Interested in average starting position for both of them in those wins.

I would say, without looking, the winning percentage is a HUGE advantage for Kinser, seeing as Brian has run there for entire seasons at a time.

In general, Steve won about 25% of the WoO races he attended. You can probably safely say the percentage is at least as good at Knoxville given he never raced more than probably 6-8 times there in any given year.

I don't know the stat on this. However, it would make more sense that Kinser could win from a worse average spot than Brown-----or any other driver today for that matter---especially on a track like Knoxville. Kinser was a HUGE fish in a little pond, and in that pond were 2 or 3 other huge fish at any given time. Brown does not have near as decisive of an advantage over the cars he has run against when compared to Steve. So, it would stand to reason, Kinser COULD HAVE come from farther back. That doesn't mean he did.

Cool! He's about half way to uncle Danny's record wins.

Comparing Brown's weekly wins against Kinser's traveling wins is like comparing an apple to a polar bear.

Yes, Kinser raced at Knoxville about twice a year, Brown races at Knoxville mostly every week for years

I haven't tried polar bear yet, but apples are delicious. That is what you meant, right?..........................
(and yes, totally agree with your assessment)
