To me it seems like a long haul for Mark's and even Brown, possibly others who attended the race at Devils Bowl. It makes me wonder if the WoO does occasionally slip a few dollars to drivers to boost car numbers in areas? With few local teams. Or could the promoter simply hire guys to attend and not breach any WoO rules?
Thoughts?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I know you get a lot of static from people on here, but could you re-read your post and edit it a bit? I'm not sure what the question is.
-Thanks

One reason Brent makes the trek is sponsorship. M&M Painting is based in San Antonio.

To answer the question, I know for a fact the Woo will offer to non-regular teams some perks to show up at events that struggle for car counts if you contact Woo in advance. Usually just offer some free pit passes but wouldn't surprise me if more elite teams might get a few $$$ also.

For some teams, it's the chance to go test your new equipment before the season gets going back home. Our season in S.D. won't start for another 6 weeks or so but some of the guys have slipped down to races in warmer areas already.
