Makes sense. If you can do it with a decently funded team, it's alot more money.

Agreed.  May win a couple, maybe 5 at the most if he stays in it all year long.

I am happy for Spencer and wish him and CJB the best.

But we all are thinking the same thing , this could be a train wreck.

Let's recap.   CJB got rid of Gravel because him and Jackson couldn't communicate.  Barry said he needed a driver closer to his generation.   He just couldn't talk millennial with Gravel.

So in came Shane Stewart and we all remember how that went.

Then it was Brent Marks turn.  And in the press release Barry said they needed a younger driver.  So he went from not being able to communicate with a young driver to saying "CJB needs a young driver"

Also in the same press release Barry said "We are going to run a true Outlaw schedule because I am tired of being on the road , plus missing the big money races around home".  Now flash to the start of 2021 and now CJB is going to run the All Stars because we need to be on the road and excited to be on the road.  Now the most current release.  CJB is running the Outlaws again but Barry isn't sure he is going to be crew chief or not but he says I would like to be team manager and stay home but he is excited to be the crew chief and be on the road.  Huh, what?

Just food for thought.

I still wish everyone the best.  I hope Barry and Spencer hit the ground running this weekend and into the future. And  thanks to CJB for still owning a team.

5 would be an unbelievable year.

I agree...the penalty box.  None of the past drivers were the problem.  Gee, I wonder if Barry could comunicate with anyone.

Exactly. I think it pays more for 10th at a WoO race than 4th at an All Star show. So from a driver perspective, if you can find funding and a team that has good equipment, you have to make the move.

5? Hell Donny only has 3. This series is pretty damn tough for him to pull in that kind of production.

I think he got a taste this past weekend how he'll be running next year in his new ride. Good luck to him...he's going to need it.

I agree Butcher. Everything is there to be a big winner. Look at Gravel, he wins 18 races & leaves for the #41. If he can learn to adapt the to tight of race car set up & not crash too many it can work.  He is young & a gasser. Was nothing wrong with the McGhee car or so it seemed. Behind them garage doors & cruising in the hauler can make or break ya!

Problems with that car starts right at the top with the owner. Hope all is well my friend.

I'm going to still with what I believe....it won't work out well. But...the driver of the car...I'm a huge fan.

A good start for sure and I wish them the best. But one night or one season doesn't answer my doubt.
