His brother is the same way. Between him and the Linders they're breaking Ray.

Man, shit was just a racing incident. He was committed to the bottom by the whole damn straight away and just had the door closed on him. Shit happens, no bad things on Paulie either, just hate to see torn up race cars. He's running on par with what we were getting with Gravel (-minus quick times, but Carson almost always puts it into the Dash anyways, so there isn't much loss in that category.) But as this board and social media has previously presumed "Grandpa pays for everything" so what does it matter if he tears up a ride every night (spoiler he hasn't.)

The door close in on him? He hit the bottom bearm and shot up the track. All on him, end of story. At least he took ownership of his mishap.

It was an idiotic move on lap 2 against a guy he could have easily passed in a lap or 2. McMahan at 50 in the anchor that is the CJB car is no threat to Macedo in a Deitz prepared car at Knoxville. Stupid and dangerous move on so many levels.

The sage and wisdom of the field, Sammy, summed everything up nicely.  "Its the first lap".

Broken clocks are right twice each day.

Looked like a racing deal to me. Paul was all over the backstretch and Carson got a run. I'm not sure there is a lot of options there that doesn't end up with some busted up cars.

Do you guys watch the same race  i do? I really wonder sometimes . That deal was all  Pauls fault watch the highlight with what happens b4 the actual wreck it is in slow motion. Paul comes off corner on the high side all squirely Carson see this goes lower to get around him all good.Paul instead of running his line(not sure when that went out of style) or even running thru the middle chopped Carson  out of room .Only thing i can think of is Paul thought Carson cleared him or he just ran him out of room.Paul has to know Carson was there he shoulda seen and heard him.And on the first lap makes it really bad.

Remember an Outlaw race in 1992 in Santa Maria where on the second lap Sammy crashed Tim Green in the back straight wall causing a multi car pile up destroying two cars and sending a driver to the hosptal. Sammy does make a point he caused the wreck on the second lap.

Lol, you gotta be a major Macedo homer to put that pileup on McMahan.

I agree and I'm a McMahan fan.  He did the same thing to Hunter Schuerenberg during Ohio Speedweek.

So the guy that went low by over half a straight away while trying to avoid the guy who was loose as hell and then got chopped down the bottom lane iin turn 3 is the bad guy in the situation?

Macedo is not a bad guy. He has really impressed me this season. I expect him to win the B main and make a run in the A main tonight.  However, he wasn't trying to avoid anyone. He was trying to pass and ran out of room. It was just a racing deal, but it was his mistake and he owned up to it.

For as fast as these guys run, first, second or third lap, you've gotta keep momentum up or watch the field string out ahead of you. Run every lap like its the last lap. Larson employs this theory and is very successful at it. Macedo was trying to do the same.

Lift for a second, thats where you'll finish.

Or lift for a split second and maybe not take out 4-5 other cars.  Kid made a mistake, he owned it.  Good for him.  I think some of the blame should go to the front row for that really really slow start.  JMO

I am a Macedo fan but it was simply a poor decision, which I give him credit for owning up to it. I think he said that was one of the dumbest moves he's done.

Overall I don't think he tears more stuff up than most.
