What a punch in the gut. I grew up with Bob Jenkins and Thursday night Thunder as I am sure many of you did. I can't think of one dirt track series or track where Bob wouldn't be considered an upgrade over what it currently has. Pure class. Big loss.

Bob was a great one. Thursday Night Thunder, early NASCAR on ESPN and the 500. He called many great races, but what made him special, was that he knew the race should be the focal point, not the announcers. Accurate info with the right amount of excitement. Godspeed!
