Typical parking fees run $5 during weekly Knoxville shows in nearby private and commercial lots. Expect to pay $10 during the Nationals. Getting there early the closer to the track you will get a spot.

The boy scouts were $10 a few weeks ago, (Brownells big gun bash). Last year at the one and only they were $20, plus another $20 for the trailer. Just looking for somewhere mabe a lil cheaper, a lil further away.

Get there early afternoon Wed-Friday and park along one of the side streets Southeast of the railroad tracks.  I would imagine it would have to be late-morning on Saturday to do the same.

There's a lot right off 14 on the south end run by the local baseball team. If you're headed from Des Moines it's perfect as it gets you right back on 5/92 and you miss all the traffic on 14 after the races. It's a bit of a walk but I only pay $5, not sure how much for the trailer. If you're staying North toward Pella/Newton it wouldn't work but if you're headed South or West it works well.

Ha.....I usually head down the dirt road parallel to the tracks and park on that first street. If you see an ugly guy in a Chev Colorado that is me.

Ugly guy in a chevy pickup in the middle of Iowa--------you're going to have to be more specific.

Well, we did narrow it down to a specific street and a four day window. I listen to time trials on my way to the track so I'll be a little late.

SFG has a five-acre lot opening this year. It's right behind Dingus, half a block from the track. The rates vary based on race and weekend. We're still finalizing the pre-pay process for people who want to reserve spots, but you can contact Brandon Stone at 641-842-5511 or email him at [email protected] and he can let you know the pricing.

Is the access to this lot from Grant Street?

Good afternoon!

No, it's off McKinley right behind Dingus, Corigliano's, etc. The rail siding was taken out and that's where the entrance for race parking is. The two business-hour entrances for the elevator off of Grant and Ash street will be gated closed.

Thanks, I did not know the siding was gone.

Yep, we took it out this past spring. One of the larger outbuildings is gone as well. Lots of room compared to the impression Google Earth might give, haha.
