You must remember Steve goes to race NASCAR and the team owner puts it up for sale and employees quit. Sammy has explained his problem with trucks. cREW PLACED A FRONT END PART ON BACKWARDS AND NO ONE NOTICED IT. His car owner H.A. got pissed and pulled the plug. Steve would have never left WOO had he had known team was for sale.

Madsen is definitely WoO caliber, it's just About whether Stewart wants to keep 2 cars on the road. Strange that tonight he's racing Madsen is at Knoxville.

I would assume that Tony Stewart's 14 and 15 would have nearly identical components. Forgive me if I can't see clearly enough from Canada or right me off is a freezing Canuck.
I know I'm only referencing one weekend but Madsen seemed to do better than Donny at Knoxville. I would have assumed the 15 to do significantly better if everything mechanical was equal. Any theories thoughts or suggestions?
And to save the trolls from trolling I am not hunting for Donniy's head. I am aware this is my 1211th attempt to troll Hoseheads.....

I threw the whole Ford theory out the window a long time ago. They aren't going to drop that motor in the car if it doesn't perform well enough on the dyno. Kerry has been very, very fast since jumping in the other Ford powered car. Donny? I think everyone needs to give him a break. He's been running a long time and is going through his first downturn in his career. It's not the "Ford" motor.

Donny has been better lately, I wouldn't be surprised seeing him go on a bit of a run as it seems Sweet has calmed down a bit and there isn't a dominant team right now.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit either. His win at Dubuque, coupled by a dominate performance by Kerry at Jackson, proves there is nothing wrong with the "Ford" powerplant. I would expect him to be a major player in mid-August when I travel to Southern Iowa.

Donny was never really "off" to be better lately, he just had some bad luck and couldnt get a win. He has the 2nd most top 5's on the tour with 20, only sweet has more with 22. He's been consistently good

I think we're seeing the results of the 14 car having Ricky as the crew chief. I didn't know he was back out on the tour. Is he also the crew chief on the 15?

He had a stretch Of 6 races earlier in the year where his best finish was 7th. He was also mediocre at tracks he's been great at in the past, and faded late in races around the time he used to shine. Sure hes having a year many would consider good, but given his lofty standards, he hasn't lived up to it. But you're starting to see some speed and reliability now, so could be a sign of things to come with the Summer of Money upon us.
