Shark racing in general has been off this year. Logan is running 7th in points and was thought to be a title contender. If Logan is off, Jacob will be really off. 

Lighten up Francis. Sheesh!

My observation is that he was doing much better until he rolled his car two or three times in one or two nights. So my assumption based on nothing other than his placings before and after those accidents is that the accidents affected his results.

And I will go on record saying that a comment about shark racing and or Logan is very relevant when asking about Jacob. If you're asking insight you should accept what people offer. Obviously the implication was it may not be an allen problem but a team problem.

What kind of brain dead comments are these? It is very obvious something is different with Shark Racing and not just Allen. Both drivers were showing noticable improvement with consistent qualifying, putting at least one if not both in the dash regularly and Logan cranking out wins and top 5s and Allen with top 5s and 10s. 

I thought it was a good point anyways.

Anyone that knows the Shark racing team knows that Jacob is the prodical son.  Logan is the golden child and he gets all the attention and will eventually be the only driver racing for Shark racing.  Hell, look at their twitter page and it is 75% about Logan and maybe 25% Jacob.  Jacob doesn't even have his merchandise in the Shark racing merchandise trailer anymore.  95% of the fans are casual one or two race a year type folks who would have any idea where to find Jacob's merchandise other than the shark racing trailer so I don't care if Jacob's girlfriend is working Sweet's trailer or not, in my opinion his stuff should still be in the Shark racing merchandise trailer.  It just doesn't make sense to have it somewhere else.  Logan is also Dana Allen's son and she pretty much controls Shark racing with her new husband.  I am sure she/they are catering to Logan's wishes and are marketing him more than Jacob.  Sure, 5 or 6 years ago the Shark racing story was a cool story with underfunded, two teams in one trailer story line.  That is no longer the case as they now have 2 haulers, a t-shirt trailer/rig and 2 motorhomes running up and down the road full time.  That's 5 vehicles to keep fuel in and to maintanence comapared to the single rig they started off with initially.  Point of my comments is you ask why Jacob isn't running as good as Logan?  In my opinion, Logan is being catered to or lets say being favored and Jacob is just along for the ride as long is it lasts.  I'd say once Bobby is off the tour and starts staying home will be the end of the deal for Jacob.  Like I said, my opinions only.

Jacob went on the tour as a very young and very inexperienced driver. I don't think he even had a full year of 410 racing under his belt, let alone any success. Not everyone turns out to be the next Steve Kinser. I was actually impressed and surprised the last couple years at how much he's progressed as a driver. He was competetive on tour picking up a WOO win, and coming close a couple other times. This year obviously isn't going so well. Who knows why? This happens a lot in this sport. Sometimes you figure it out and breakout of the slump. Sometimes you don't. Jacob seems like a good guy and his father is a legend. I'm rooting for him.

Jacob has never run as good as Logan, because he's not as good or experienced. And the whole Shark racing team is down. Dissension in the ranks is never good, but when your top driver is struggling, your 2nd driver may struggle as well with the same engine type, chassis type etc...

What makes you think there's dissension?
