In my opinion DirtVision costs way too much. I love sprint car racing but I'm not willing to pay for DirtVision. Closest track is 1.5 hours away. My main way of consuming sprint car racing these days is YouTube highlights. I live rural so my internet connection is a tad bit slow. Wish I could see more sprint car races in-person.
This is sort of a poll:
What's the main way you consume sprint car racing?

I do not agree that dirtvision cost to much. You can watch so many races a year . If you paid to see races live it would cost alot more per race. Travel cost, admission, food and drink. When races are over after watching dirtvision, you are home.

I watch live whenever I can... fortunate to live 10 minutes from the Grove, 25 minutes from BAPS, 35 minutes from Lincoln, and 60 minutes from Port & Selinsgrove.
Catch a lot of races on Dirtvision and Flo. It’s nice to start with races in the east, then on to a midwest show, and if I’m still awake finish up with California. All without leaving the house

I would agree that I think DirtVision is a good price, but everyone's circumstances are different. I live less than an hour from Knoxville so that is my "home" track, which I attend every weekend.
There are races, that I can't attend that I want to see live, such as the Bristol race, and the world finals, that I'll purchase the month subscription.
From what I've seen, and have heard, FLO is a better deal plus the production of FLO is better.
Keep It Real

Flo for me.
DV is way over-priced.

DirtVision is a great deal for me. I live in North Texas where 410 sprint car racing is non-existent.

Feel like the DirtVision Platinum Pass is slightly better value than Flo, but can see how others might value Flo more. $299 for 12 months of WoO Sprints and Lates, Knoxville/Husets/Williams Grove/Attica/Jacksonville weekly shows is stout enough, but you throw in both the 410 Nationals (typically what - $150 or $170 on its own to stream?) and 360 Nationals? Not to mention the DIRTCar and UMP stuff if you're into it? I think that's a steal for $25/mo.
Flo has a lot of great content - I actually subscribe to it as well. Their late model production stuff is second to none, think that's mainly a result of the DirtonDirt acquisition, but in terms of quality, it is my opinion it's behind DV. Obviously Flo is cheaper at $150/year and also gives you access to some other stuff on the Flo Network, but if I could only pay for one, I'm going DV without a hesitation.
Regardless - exciting time for race fans. These two entities have seemed to be competiting a lot, which is only good news for the end consumer.

We live in a time when streaming dirt track races is more available than it's ever been. The closest track to me that runs sprints or Late Models is 2-3 hours away. I'm past the stage in my life where I can drive back from the track and get home at 3:00 AM like I used to do. I still go to the track and camp when I can but as somebody else said there is nothing like being there in person. I subscribe to Flo and Lucas racing TV but Dirtvision certainly produces a great product. In the grand scheme of things they all are good deals.

These days it's mostly all PPV. I spent close to 20 years taking action photos and writing about racing. Every race night was spent walking the pits and standing in the infield so I saw plenty of up close action, sometimes too close.
A combination of things has made PPV more attractive than attending live. My closest track is 32 miles but runs a six class program most weeks with limited non wing Sprints. I can go to my local track and sit through a bunch of Stock Cars and Modifieds for a dozen and a half Sprints or watch Outlaws, All Stars and USAC at home. Since I used to travel alone and spent the night in the pits and infield I don't really have any group of fans I can sit with and share the experience at any local tracks. Knoxville, Jackson and Husets require a motel room or redeye drive home in the wee hours, something that is more difficult at 70 than it was 20 years ago.
My internet speed handles the races, I have a 55" tv and recliner I watch sports on in the man cave. The walls are adorned with action photos I took over the years along with racing memorabilia. There is no line at the concession aka kitchen and I have a cat that likes to hang with me. I will get to a few races this year but I much prefer watching Knoxville weekly than attending a multi class program just to see 15 minutes of Sprints sandwiched between a bunch of other classes.
Speaking of costs, Dirtvision is $39 per month and Flo averages to a little over $13 per month. That track 32 miles from me costs let's say about $10 for gas, $30 for a pit pass (I rarely sit in the main grandstand) and around $15 for food and drink so around $55 for one night at the track closest to home. $39 + $13 for two PPV channels averages around $52 so one night at the nearest track on a regular race night covers a month of more races than I can find time to watch.
When I was younger there was no PPV and I started going weekly as a kid around 1960 so I have seen a lot of live racing over the years. My neighbors son is driving a non wing Sprint so I plan on getting out to watch him. Right now our race day temp today is going to be 48 for a high and a low of 30. I have a surgically repaired neck that can't handle that kind of cold or sitting on a metal bleacher. I am fine standing or sitting in comfortable cushioned chairs but those benches in this cold would see me on a heating pad the next day.
I love PPV in my circumstances where I would have to drive alone and cover all the expenses. If my wife was willing to go or I hung around with a gang of racing fans to share travel expenses I would feel like going more often. PPV makes racing a lot like watching NFL, I watch every week but rarely attend games in person. My circumstances make racing that way, watch it all the time and only go once in a while. Running from spinning cars in the infield for twenty years and hanging around the pits and knowing all the driver drama took a lot of the mystique out of racing. I don't need to see it live as I can still picture it in my mind after being so close to the action.

I subscribe to the Big 3: DirtVision, Flo, and (eventually) MAVTVPlus.
Back in December I bought a 6 month DirtVision pass for $199, that expires mid-July. I'll do the $300 annual easily once it's up.
In 2019 before DirtVision combined the Sprint and LM passes (and before Eldora was included with Flo) , I spent $1110 for streaming races for the year. This year, with all the consolidation, I'm on track to spend only $495 and will get more than I got back in 2019. I have zero complaints. Love that in peak season there's usually something on somewhere every night of the week. I don't often stay awake all night for the races I'm interested in, but it doesn't bother me because it's so cheap. I tend to avoid the PPV shows (what few remain) but we do have in New York a lot of our Modified tracks partner with a PPV site. Their production is great, but I don't want to pay $25-$30 for a regular show when I'm not confident I'll stay awake all night (or if the racing is bad). Other people love it, it's just not for me.

I pay for DirTVision and Flo. Watch races every Friday and Saturday online. Get to Skagit when I can as I live in the Northwest near the Canadian border in WA state. Dirt Cup is a quality three day event. Made a trip to Kings Royal and Don Martin. Heading to Knoxville Nationals this year.
Prefer to be live in the stands, but watching tons more on my TV through DV and Flo.
EDIT: Worth noting... I don't think DV or FLO are horribly expensive. I tihnk they are priced well, but I make plenty of money to pay for them. I think it's entirely understandble that they are expensive for some folks.

I don't live near a lot of race tracks, so I'm typically staying over at a hotel, paying for gas, meals, etc... before I even get to the track. So I probably average $200-250 all in for each race I attend. So for me, DV and Flo are bargains. Sure it's not the real thing, but it's excellent value. And given PPV races used to be $25-30 per race, it's even better.

My preference would be to attend in person but living 2hrs or more to most tracks, it is hard to do so. I go to as many Outlaw & All Star races when they come to Ohio but will watch Dirtvision each weekend that I'm not at the track. I think it is worth the money and prefer it over flo but everyone has their tastes

I go to WoO when I can. Love DirtVision and think it's well worth the $299. DirtVision production is great and no need for Flo as I am watching DV every Friday and Saturday.

To me Dirtvision is priced about right during the season. Flo is absolutely cheap for the content they provide. One week of Chili Bowl in January used to cost about the same on Racnboys as yearly subscription for Flo. That being said I have neither and sometimes bum accounts off of friends. If they got rid of theirs or said stop using it it wouldn't bother me. Nothing compares to being there in person. Just doesn't.

Travel 2-1/2 hours each way to Knoxville most weekends.

I much prefer attending races in person when I can since the experince is just so much better than watching on TV. Unfortunately, however, where I live in the Pacific Northwest is not good sprint car country. The closest regular sprint car shows are more than a two hour drive, so I'm only able to go on special occasions. I subscribe to Dirtvision periodically as I can afford it so I can watch the Outlaws. I think that Dirtvision has improved by leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and puts out a good product despite sprint car racing just not being entirely conducive to televising in general (IMO). I think the cost is really not bad. $40 for a month is far less than I'd spend attending races in person and you get a whole lot to watch in a month.

Thanks for the opinions, fellas.
For me $40 a month for DirtVision is high. However, when compared to attending a race I agree it's very low. And DirtVision doesn't throw a chunk of mud in my $10 racetrack beer. :-)
There's nothing like attending a live race. I love the smell of methanol and I dig getting an adrenaline rush.
My closest track is Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA. A smart spectator takes good eye protection and wears a hat to prevent the dirt from depositing itself into one's scalp.
