CARSON MACEDO IS HANFORD KING; SWEEPS TARLTON CLASSIC

HANFORD, CA – OCTOBER 30, 2020… Leading all 25-laps, Carson Macedo (Lemoore, CA) swept the USAC Western States Midget portion of the “Inaugural Tom Tarlton Classic” at Hanford. Racing the Tom Tarlton Sr. owned #21 Tarlton and Son Inc. / BG Chemicals entry, Macedo set fast time, won his heat race, topped the dash, and scored the main event win at Keller Auto Speedway. The former NARC / King of the West Sprint Car Champion finished ahead of Ryan Bernal, Shannon McQueen, Brody Fuson, and hard charger Robby Josett for the second series win of his career.

Macedo began the night by setting the top mark in Woodland Auto Display Qualifying with a time of 16.238 over the 15-car roster. He won the 7-lap Extreme Mufflers Heat Race and the special Rod End Supply Dash that earned $600 for the veteran driver.

Storming from eleventh to fifth in the feature, Robby Josett claimed the night’s Rod End Supply Hard Charger Award / Best Passing Job honors. Josett was eleventh quick in time trials and placed sixth in his heat race.

Ryan Bernal raced to victory in the Competition Suspension Incorporated / Ultra Shield Race Products Second Heat Race. The two-time USAC Western Classic Sprint Car Champion qualified second overall and ran second in the dash.

On November 13th and 14th, the “mighty midgets” of the USAC Western States will battle the NOS Energy Drink USAC National series in the non-point “53rd Annual Western World Championships” at Arizona Speedway (San Tan Valley, AZ). The races will be broadcast live on the internet at floracing.com.

The USAC Western States Midget Series thanks AMSOIL, Competition Suspension Incorporated, Extreme Mufflers, Five Star Grafix, Hoosier Racing Tire, Loudpedal Productions, Rod End Supply, Ultra Shield Race Products, and Woodland Auto Display for their support.  For more information on the series, visit usacracing.com and the social media for USAC Racing.

So larson is there and doesn't get a midget ride ? Surprising. Any word on the sprint car portion, I no they had to redo the track, which I will never understand why.  Are the people that prepare the track smoking weed as they ride around in the water truck or what ?

pick up that stoned water truck driver, stick some extra joints in his shirt pocket and send him to Port Royal.....   There is a guy there who I'm pretty sure can supply him with a lifetime of enjoyment riding around....

Paul Silva lives in California and the car has probably been back for a few weeks since Kyle's last time racing it in PA. We have had our big races cancelled this year in CA including Trophy Cup except for the Tarlton race on Friday, so I think it is awesome that they decided to race it. Kyle even said that he was glad to be racing back in CA and seeing his CA fans. We are the ones who have watched him race since he was a kid and CA is where he was born and raised.  I am not sure who is driving the big rig, but I think Kyle and Paul would fly to NC while the rest of the team stay with the rig and do the long drive to CA.  Kyle and Paul are an amazing team and great guys as well and I wish them the best next weekend and also next year in whatever amount of races they are able to race together!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting

There's more than one 57 car.
