I have been reading several Nascar Silly Season sites that have Kyle Larson going to Hendricks motorsports. While all of these sites deal in rumors, the Larson to Hendricks rumor has a lot of steam. The number that Kyle runs is also in question. It is common to see the current Hendricks number 88 and the two retired Hendricks numbers 5 and 25 mentioned. However, I see more and more people saying that the number may be 57. I always thought 57 was Paul Silva's number and when given a choice Kyle always selected 1K. When you think of Kyle Larson do you think 57 or 1K or no number at all?

I have heard the same things with the number that he would have if he goes to Hendrick would be "his" sprint car number. A lot of the reports and individuals making those reports I kind of just chalk up to being regular Nascar beat writers who do not know a lot of in-depth sprint car information to know that Paul Silva owns the car. It's been going on for years because even when he did the 2017 Nationals the broadcasters for the Nascar race kept saying that Kyle Larson was driving "his" sprint car last night. They don't take the time to research it because it does not matter to them, nor do they have the time to do so as well.
I always have identified him as 1k when he races his own stuff but in regards to this I don't think he can run the 1K in Nascar

If you are referring to running the #99 in NASCAR?
That number is taken by Justin Marks new team and Daniel Suarez will be running it.
