Another great race. 2020 has sucked for humanity overall but for sprint car fans it's been awesome.

That was awesome. Both Johnny Gibson and Sheldon found another gear on that last lap.

What was Hauds VL Comment, Something like: "I just stuck her in there and let it Eat" talking about the last corner pass for the win. That was an awesome finish.

If Sheldon figures out how to harness that better and qualify more consistently, I think he's a future champ.

I think you made a fair observation and I tend to agree as well. Granted yes there are certain things he can learn and he is still pretty young, so yes he does have time to prove people wrong. I can see him being someone that eventually wins 5-10 races consistently each year and finishing 3rd-5th but he needs to learn to keep the car on the track each night first. Little things like last night where he got into the wall trying to get around Logan when he probably had a better can than Logan. Had he not pushed so hard he probably could have gotten around him the next lap and been in a better spot for the restart that happened later. I think he will have a great career and win some big races in the future but as far a championship? I hope he does but I don't see it but I also hope I am wrong.

He could be like his Dad for sure and win alot but never quite reach championship level. He still screws up way too much, but when he's on, he can be dominant.
I just see him turning some Larson-type laps followed by some laps where it looks like he's a rookie. If he can ever harness it, I think he can do it.

I know I'll get flack for saying this but I think Sheldon is at least as good if not better than his dad ever was.

I agree with you. Seemed Jac ran the top pretty much all the time. Sheldon moves around and is getting damn good on the bottom too.
It's fun watching Sheldon learn and grow as a person and a racer.

Have always thought Sheldon pushes too hard too often. I know there are no rear views and you have to run hard, but he's had big time leads wiped out this year by doing silly things on his own because he doesn't seem to know how to pace himself.

Sheldon hasn't accomplished near what Jac has, but i think in time he could end up being a lot better.
