Flying Mike Faria will be racing at this weekends Trophy Cup Event. Mike finished in the runner up spot in 2005 and is looking forward to a successful run this weekend. Earlier this season Faria stepped away from the local sprint car scene, parked his familiar white 4F Maxim.

Due to a hand injury sustained by brother Danny Faria Jr at last weeks Cotton Classic, Mike has agreed to step out of semi retirement and wheel the Shark powered Stinger Chassis 17v owned by his brother at Trophy Cup this weekend.

Mike is extremely excited about substituting for his brother this weekend, earlier in the season he decided to step away from racing based on the always increasing costs of owning and operating a competitive race team. This weekend will be an excellent opportunity for Mike to showcase his talents while serving as a hired driver.

Thank you.

Alright, that's good to hear. Hate to see Danny has a hand injury, but it will be good to see Mike back in action.
