Port is rubbered up every single race.....the worst prepared track in PA week in and week out. It is nothing more than a asphalt track at best. Razor Steve needs FIRED!!!!!
Did anyone catch that train in port royal yesterday?? Chugga...chugga.....choo....choo!!! I don't do excuses!!!

I will say one thing I have never seen a dirt track slick off on a sunny 90 degree day. Strawser get a life, you exposed yourself to anyone who hasn't already written you off as an idot with that post. Macri added his name to long list of top drivers to win that race. That is what thirtysix 410 teams showed up for daytime race hoping to do. Tradition for 69 years. Do you not understand that. I have seen close to sixty of them and I don't go expecting to see a fast track. If you are a sprint car fan in Juniata County that is what you do on Labor Day.

saturday night at port was some of the best racing i've ever seen anywhere. 3 wide on an even pavement surface would be hard let alone sprint cars on a dirt track. yesterday might not have been as good...but the only thing holding macri back lately up there is having to negotiate traffic. you're not going to see a hail mary pass every time you go to the track. some races are better than others

Macri is one of the top posse drivers for sure but lets not forget where he started this weekend. Some good drawing luck never hurts.

For anyone from outside central Pennsylvania reading this thread, he is complaining that a daytime surface took rubber.

Talked to alot of drivers over the years and most of em prefer slick tracks. low groove and a cushion so two grooves. Brings out the best in the drivers. Not as hard on equipment. Fans love the racing slick tracks bring, or sure seem too. Car owners like slick tracks cause they spend less $$. So drivers, owners and fans like it. But Strawser and his twin dont. Weird.

Macri is "up & coming", but far from "the leader"

It was sunny, warm and very windy with a 1 pm start time. What the hell did you expect Strawser? Just more proof that you have the IQ of a rotten potato. That said, the track has been a little on the dry side recently. Too dry in my opinion. The thing I'd really like to see, is the return of a useable bottom groove. Since they reconfigured the banking, it's pretty much one lane around the top. On top of that, there's been a lot of incidents lately where guys get their right rear into the guardrail and end up going for a ride. No one wants to see that. Maybe letting a bit of a cushion build would help or they could grade the lip down on top to even out the bottom and top lanes a little bit. I saw a video on Twitter of the 2017 night before the 50 and the difference between then and now is very noticeable. I think it was better back then when guys could race side by side and pass in another groove as opposed to having to rely on a bonzai slider and pinching the other guy against the wall coming off the corner.

Have the track wet at the beginning of the night. Not where it turns into a slip and slide before half the heats are finished. No wonder the drivers like the slip and slides...after warmups are over the don't have to change the car much the rest of the night. What the port o potty passes off as sprintcar racing isn't even close to sprint racing...sorry to disappoint you!!! The worst prepared track in PA!!

What about the other races that were not daytime shows? That is not the one you were bitching about. You were the Jackass bitching about a daytime surface being slow. That is the way you are when even you realize that you have made an Ass of yourself you deflect to something else.
