I cant recall what thread it was but someone questioned if the drivers who use provisiknals get paid. Looking at the WoO A main results, Bill Rose took the provisional finished 17th and got $250 while Ryan Smith was 18th and got 1050.
Does anyone know if they get 25 of their placement allocation, or is there a set fee to use or buy a provisional that comes off their earnings? If he had won the race would he still only get $250? What's the point if using a provisional UF thats all you can win unless your in a points race which isn't the case for Rose.
Do drivers in the B main of a regular show earn extra money or just show up money?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

If you take a provisional you're basically forfeiting starting money (last night $1000, normally $800). Had someone come from 25th to 1st they would have won $19,000. Rose's finishing position paid $1250, so he got $250 when you subtracted the starting money.
