Route 66 Motor Speedway Amarillo, TX will host the Sprint Series of Oklahoma 

and the "Lyndon Moss Memorial" on Aug 8, 2020. This is an IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint Car Race.

Lyndon Moss was a well respected Super Modified and Late Model racer and Body SHop owner for many years.

Famous for the orange hot rods with the #94.

It is good to see tracks recoginize drivers from the past.   However, the stories about Lyndon that I remember were more about his altercations than being well respected.   

A story that I heard numberous times was  about him racing one night at West Texas Speedway in Lubbock and he stuffed a local driver into the wall.   A group of Lubbock driverd approach Lyndon with a bunch of chains and tire irons and he pulls a gun from his dashboard.    It was a while before he went back to Lubbock.  

Is my memory bad, or did Lyndon have multiple sides?
