Saw highlights on FB looked like a good show.

For anybody that watched on Speedshift, what was your take?

It was actually kind of a dud to me. The racing was OK but they really struggled to keep the track under them.

The show really, really dragged on though. Modifieds were the support class and were actually excellent - maybe the best I've seen. They raced hard and were not cautionfests in the heats, though I didn't stick around to watch the feature.

The main issues were having to work the track twice (after qualifying, after heats) and it seemed they had some equipment issues - I think something they were using to work the track broke down though the camera never showed it, They also only had one tractor capable of towing cars which made it slow under some cautions/reds.

It was slick and mainly around the bottom, but some guys were riding the top by the end of the feature with limited success.

Hopefully tonight they'll be able to improve a bit off things they learned last night and if they're lucky, the wind won't be as bad and they can keep the track under them a little better.

I agree completely with SprintFan16. It was great to have a sprint car race to watch mid-week, but Tuesday night was a "dud". However, it was really cool that everyone seemed to realize it, and made changes to last night's format to make it a better a show, and I have no doubt that it would've been way better. I'm sorry for everyone involved that last night was rained out.
