If you did not here Neil Shepherd won the Rookie Of The Year in 410
wing car sponsored by the National Sprint Car Hall Of Fame in Knoxville
Iowa. Neil had a great rookie season in his sprint car. Neil made the
dash and started on the pole of the A in only his second race All
Stars. His third race was at Eldora with WoO and most of the NST guys
made the show and was like 15th. Neil won his first race feature in
only his 7th start and went on to two features. Also many dashes and
heat races with WoO, NST and All Stars. At Knoxville Neil was 14th
quick, if not for a blown tire he would have made the A. All in all
this just goes to show you that you are seeing more and more 600 micro
drivers move on to be very good in full sized sprint car drivers. Good
job Neil.
