I saw where the ASCS is not going to sanction the Mo. State Fair Race . I wonder why?

TULSA, Okla. (August 14, 2019) The agreement between the American Sprint Car Series and the Missouri State Fair has been rendered null and void, and with that, events slated for Sunday, August 18 will no longer take place with the involvement of the American Sprint Car Series.

“We apologize to the fans who were expecting to see top drivers from across the country at the Missouri State Fair. At the end of the day, the ones that lost the most are the fans, and that’s not right,” commented ASCS Founder Emmett Hahn.

“We booked this show on November 2018 with the director of the Missouri State Fair as a National Tour event, and it was on our schedule since it came out at in December at PRI last year, only for them to try and cut it down to a Regional event at the last minute. That’s not fair to the drivers who race with us, Nationally and Regionally, and it’s definitely not fair to the fans when the flyers and ads at the Missouri State Fair are billing the event at a National Tour race.”

The Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps is slated for competition nine more times in 2019 with events in Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.
