Weird. Who'd have thought the most populous state in the nation, that also has a very active dirt track community, would do well? I'm just floored.

Annnnnnnd night #1 there was 1 CA gun in the top ten. Soooooooo.......your point? Bottom line, regardless of state, there is a ton of talent in Knoxville this week.

Ironically, another state only has 14 people and one of those 14 has pretty much dominated the event over the last dozen years.

I think he's from Connecticut California. It's a small town, most people haven't heard of it.

66% of all Canadians entered have made the A mains so far. Some of us like that!
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Was surprised to see Dirt Cup champion Robbie Price run so poorly. Wondering if he ran with his 360 motor just for the experience.
He's an easy kid to root for. Love the look of his car and have engaged him in conversation several times in the pits at Skagit. Very humble and loves sprint car racing. No aspirations to drive anything but a sprint car. Was werid to hear him talk about being too old to drive anything else already and he's only 21.

hmmm again. the last time I watched the Nationals it had nothing to do with what state they were from. Last time I watched the Nationals the talent runs up front, wait, cant be, wrong state.

Take it up with the guy who started the thread, I guess. He seems to disagree with you.

seems Indiana has owned Knoxville when you put it that way.
And there is no way California has more racing then Indiana, ohio or PA for that matter In a single year nor is it the best racing.
It's where I live so It's what I can support, and I do travel to other states for the better experence.

I've always thought of him as a dinosaur. It's from a font called Tombats. When I worked for footballguys.com all of the writers chose their own avatar from that font. It just sort of stuck.

California has races from the end of Februrary until the end of November on weekends and some weekday races. We have fewer rain outs than areas in the midwest because of having pretty much no rain in the summer. We have great tracks, top quality 360 and 410 series, and some of the best racers in the country got their start racing in CA! California is in the top 3 or 4 for best sprint car racing in the county for sure!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

If you would've read the post Header, it clearly says "takes four out of five". Which means 1 of the 5 is not from California but the other 4 are which in this case is 100% accurate. Before you get your panties in a bunch, consider the fact that not everyone is perfect like you ... the best time to delete your post was right after you posted it, the second best time is now.

Agreed. Other than the spelling there's nothing wrong with the original post.
