I was impressed with everything about the 3 hours I spent watchin the WoO on Speed. There were definitely some things that coulda been done different...........most of you know of em all. I don't really knoe anything except maybe to show the starting lineups before each race - but then again - they were showing the positions and stuff at the top of the screen. But overall I thought the broadcast was great - Despain seemed just fine and did a good job. I don't ever watch speed so thats the 1st time I ever really saw him so I don't know much about him like some of ya'll do. And the racing was awesome. sprints and late models both were great. the complete show was A+
I was happy to see GREAT racing and a good broadcast - so happy I thought I'd type up a completely positive post. And see if everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

Im a sprint fan 100% and maybe my opinions are a little bias ? I would have liked to see the sprint B main! most of the time, there is a hard charge for the last transfer in the B, on that particular track, it might have been pretty tuff when they get spread out , although there was a pretty good battle in both A's towards the end ,and I guess thats what matters, the taxi cabs still did pretty well , and like I said, im proubly a little bias to sprints , I watch for the ciderella storie (regardless which class)none of which I found tonight ? all in all, it was pretty cool, I just hope it gets bigger and bigger for television anybody hear conclusions on Pauls foot? I guess alot of questions were answered on teams next season huh?

I thought the broadcast team did a pretty good job....they coulda used Dave A but Despain did a great job.....I'm not much of a Dr Dick fan anymore (I used to be)
It was a little distracting when they would cut to a taped segment in daylight with watertrucks circling and then go back to live (??) action a minute later, but I doubt that bothered too many other people. Broadcasting Johnny G's 4-abreast call was cool.
I noticed that the B was not shown for sprints...but the LM guys only got highlights of the heats and first B main so I would think the sprint fans got the better end of that deal.

Johnny Gibson never ceases to amaze me! He must be able to see into the future because he told everyone listening to DirtVision exactly how the race came out a half-hour before the live SPEED telecast showed it.
Not toooooo bad of a telecast for SPEED overall technically - although they really need someone who can properly shade and match cameras in the truck.
