In a statement from Perris Auto Speedway, Saturday's event featuring the PASSCAR Late Models, Super Stocks, Street Stocks & Modifieds has been CANCELLED.

Due to extremely bad air quality because of the numerous fires in Southern California, tomorrow night's (October 27, 2007) event has been cancelled. This decision has been made for the safety of our participants, race fans and our employees.
The Perris Auto Speedway has not been damaged in any way from the recent fires and high winds. It is a prudent decision not to expose anyone to the continued severe air quality this weekend.
The long range forecast looks good for the running of the twelfth annual Budweiser Oval Nationals presented by Temecula Valley Pipe and Supply.
All of our thoughts are with the families that are still displaced from the fires and especially the ones that have lost their homes.
Perris Auto Speedway will be taking donations for the Red Cross in support of the California Wildfire Relief Fund during the Oval Nationals.
