Hey guys/gals. Newbie here to the forum. I'm inquiring to see if anyone has ever camped at Port Royal for the Tuscarora 50(tent camping). Does it usually get busy? Thanks!

I don't know anything about the camping, but Tusky 50 gets a huge crowd, cause it coincides with County Fair. I thought i got there way early last year & line for tix was almost out to the road....

Yes , it gets filled up , but I wouldn't call it "crowded". The camping area is very big and the reserved spots are very nice sized. Over 150 spots have been sold so far. I'd call the office to see about tent camping. I'm not sure if you need to get spots or if there is a specific tenting area. Still , come on out , it's a fun time. I've been camping there for the last 20 years. The last 10 years I have camped there all of fairweek.
