Just saw Chevy is on board with Shane Stewart / KLR starting this weekend for the rest of the year as a primary sponsor. Also see Kyle mentioned a new Eagle Chassis. I know Shane was running RPMs, not sure when they switched to Eagle or if that is happening now. Good looking car too!

According to Sprint Car Unlimited,Lee Stauffer left the team after Williams Grove a few weeks ago. Silva will become the Crew Chief beginning this week at Knoxville and the team has switched to the same chassis(Eagle) & engine (Rider) combination that Paul has been using for the #57 for Kyle. Kind of makes sense.

Maybe Lee and Dietrich will get together. I have a feeling that would be very entertaining.

This may be the last chance for Shane to show that he belongs in the seat of this first-rate team and ride. I know Kyle thinks the world of him, but how long can he go without running up front .
Look out Shane, lots of young drivers are running very strong now. It doesn't help your cause when your owner drops in ocasionallly and whips your butt with team equipment !

I'd say if he can't run up front when Silva starts working on it it's time to change the meat in the seat

LMR/KLR has used rider for quite a few years now. So only switching chassis

I predict that someday soon, brother-in-law Brad Sweet will be in the seat of the KLR #2 to add another family team to the Big Show !

Sweet would be mad to leave that team. It has taken several years to build that team to a point where they are now challenging Donny for race wins and the title. He looks a clear second behind Donny but the gap is closing fast.
Gotta say that Stewart's speed is a bit of a worry. I am glad he ran inside the top 10 at the nationals but this year I dont expect setwart to be up the front in a WoO race.
Pittman got lapped by Sweet and the car didnt really have a primary sponsor for the Nationals, the biggest race. I hope they find a big sponsor to prevent any thought of folding that team.
