Legal or Not ??? Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series top 5

The last scheduled race of 2007 for the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series was held on Saturday evening Oct 20. All serial numbers from the motors were recorded over the last several races. On Sunday Oct 21, the top 5 in points along with 2 other drivers voted on by the drivers made the trip to Ken Essary’s shop for a thorough inspection of their motors.

Bore, stroke, and heads were checked by series technical inspector, George Hill, with the assistance of the many motor builders that were present including: Jeremy Riley, Marty Smith, Jim Ruble, Mike Pickens, Jim Down, Lennie Stringer, & Park Jones.

Motors checked were those of Leslie Essary, Ken Essary, Jim Fulp, Rick Lebow, Jeremy Kelley, Conner Ward, and Justin Asplin. All of the motors checked were within the guidelines of the rules.

Over 50 total people were on hand during this process – other drivers in attendance were: Kenny Hartwigsen, Jarrod Hilton, Frank Tindle, & Kevin Henson.

All drivers inspected were extremely cooperative during this process. The series wishes to thank them, along with the motor builders, and everyone one else in attendance.

We look forward to a great 2008. And as always, for the most up-to-date information on the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series visit www.Show-MeRacinSeries.com

I really do like this series.

After Saturday night I didn't figure Hartswigen and Kelly would want to be in the same county let alone the same building!Seen them exchange greetings in the make-shift pits at TSS saturday night/Sunday morning.David you made a wise dicision by leaving after those 2 FS B's.I almost left before the LM A feature and I only live 30 min away.I guess when you have 250 cars there are going to be a few who aren't real good on a very slick track.337 cars in the 8 classes over the 3 nights.

God made dirt,man made asphalt.
