Knoxville, IA, April 5, 2018 – Fans of Bryan Clauson have been wondering for some time about BC Forever Hats and Shirts.  After much deliberation on the part of the Clauson family, they will be available for a limited time this summer.  100% of the proceeds from hat and shirt sales will go towards funding the new Bryan Clauson Suite Tower.

The family has stipulated that the sales will only run through the 58th Knoxville Nationals concluding on August 11, and that 100% of all proceeds go towards funding the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, Iowa.

Tim Clauson, Bryan’s father, stated, “The amount of BC Forever apparel requests that we continue to receive from our racing family continues to humble us as a family; and quite honestly we have struggled with this decision for a long time.  I have been very conscious of the perception that selling product after someone’s passing in the racing community presents.  While we have had hundreds, if not thousands of requests since we made the decision to stop selling BC merchandise, it was a conversation I had with a gentleman earlier this year at a race that made me take pause and possibly reconsider my decision.  In short, he told me a story of an interaction that he had had with Bryan and his hat was, in his word, his most prized possession that reminded him daily of that time he spent with Bryan. That hat was stolen from him and he would give anything to get it back or at the very least another one.” 

“Making the decision to offer BC Forever merchandise again did not come easy for several reasons, but if I am being honest, the biggest was the perception of somebody profiting from our family’s tragedy.  While we wanted to offer the BC Forever merchandise to his fans, friends and our racing family, the decision to do so did not come easy.”

“The idea of offering BC Forever product to support causes and charities that were both important to Bryan and causes that have become important to us as a family in the last 18 months seemed only natural and something that Bryan would be proud of.”

Both hats and t-shirts are black in color and emblazoned with the BC Forever logo.

Shirts are available in adult Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL sizes.
