Anyone know why when you watch the driver bio for hodnett on the game, it has him in the Vasser 12 car but the car in the game is the apple 12 car?

This is complete speculation from me, but I think that game was supposed to come out a year or so earlier, but didn't. Im also gonna guess that they had a deal to use Hodnett and not the car, so when the game came out they rendered the Apple car instead of the V12. I'm also gonna guess that I'm wrong, but it's a fun question to try and figure out.
I've wondered the same thing in the billion times I played it.

Also of note, Mark Kinser and Joey Saldana say they are 35 and 27 respectively in their driver bios. That puts the interview in 1999 or thereabouts. So maybe the first part of my hypothesis was correct?

Some other drivers in that game were running different cars in 2002. Stevie was not in the Ingersoll-Rand 19 and I don't believe Shepard was in the 4J in 2002. 1999 would seem about right as also the G-Man was driving the Amoco 93 for most of 1999 (after setting the world on fire early in the season in the Zemco 1).

It almost seems like a combination of the 2000 and 2001 seasons...at least the gameplay is sweet

Must be nice to still have a working copy of the game. Mine burnt out in my high school years somewhere between 06-08. What I’d give to play it on Xbox one.

My girlfriend got me a copy of it for Christmas! And had got me the PS2 for anniversary. She's a keeper!

Got the game when it first came out, I was in college. It's still alive and kicking. It just freezes every once and a while in career mode. It's always done that since I've had it though.

Check out Ebay. Everytime Mine goes to crap, I order a new one. On my 4 the copy now. Last one I bought I got for like $12.

There is a version for pc that you can download (pirated). However I believe this would be legal since the game is not for sale anymore. Just going off of what nintendo went through when they tried to stop the people from making the new nintendo thing (it's considered abandonware). However I'm not a lawyer and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either so I couldn't tell you the legal ramifications. Also this is the exact same game as the ps2 version, not the other ones.

Nascar Racing 2003 has a "mod" of Sprint cars(to bad they use GN physics), but that is the mod our league is running for Winter Heat. I know IRacing is probably better, but NR2003 is free!!
