Anyone know of any drivers racing Saturday at Petaluma other than their weekly drivers? Heard they having a $2500 to win 360 show.

Why is the event called "The last sprint car show". Is there still a possibility that the track will be shut down in 2008? I hope not as it's the best racing in the bay area.
There should be a decent field since all NorCal tracks are done for the year as they have a purse similar and/or slightly higher than a Civil War show.

If you listen to the Petaluma recording, it states that it's the last sprint car show for 2007. I believe they also called this show the same thing last year.
Sean Becker will be there in the 2sb.

hope pace truck chuck will keep us posted on the weather up there for saturdays race ,last civil at petaluma was the most hooked up track i have seen in a long time kyle hirst was scary fast in the 14 car,andy forsberg came from nowhere to get a good finish an sean chased down the leader only to fall a few feet short......really a great racing surface that night...

The track has been super fast and smooth all year. Just hope it doesn't rain.....Doesn't look good. We are expecting a big rain tonight. Hope to see you all this Saturday!!!!!

Not going to be much help for you Ed. I have to work tomorrow and probably won't be hpme before 5 or 6 PM. Weather Underground is showing 10% chance of rain from 8 AM to 5 PM and partly cloudy. No precip after 5. It is sprinkling now and apparently has been for some time as there are puddles. Wish I could be of more help.
Are we having fun yet?

as of 11:45 AM it is sunny and drying out in Santa Rosa. Petaluma website says racing is a go!
