California racer Frankie Guerrini to drive for Tucker-Boat Motorsports at 32nd Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals next week
San Rafael, CA – January 5, 2018…San Rafael, California’s Frankie Guerrini is geared up for one of the biggest opportunities of his career next week at the annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals, piloting a car for Tucker-Boat Motorsports during the prestigious event.
Guerrini, the 2015 Bay Cities Racing Association champion and western midget driver of the year, is excited for the chance to compete with the team at what is considered the “Super Bowl” of midget racing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is slated to hit the track during Thursday’s John Christner Trucking Qualifying Night.
“I’m definitely thrilled for the opportunity to drive the Tucker-Boat Motorsports 15x next week in Tulsa,” Guerrini commented. “They are a great team and always have a fast race car, so I can’t wait. The Chili Bowl is one of the biggest events all season long and I’m looking forward to competing in it for the second time.”
This past season saw Guerrini finish runner up in the Light up the World Beverage USAC Western States Midget standings, which included a charge from 15th to fifth at the prestigious Louie Vermeil Classic in Calistoga. He made his only previous start at the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2016.

The 32nd annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire takes place on January 9-13 at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, located inside the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
