Congrats to Truex. I was in the "any of the other three" instead of Kyle Busch camp. Enjoyed the post-race interviews with Truex - you could see how much that meant to him.
Also thought it was nice of Danika to wad one final #10 up for the SHR sheetmetal boys back at the shop. What a trail of carnage she left this year.
A "what if" year for Larson.

I was happy to see Furniture Row and Truex bring it home. I'm sure multiple people at SHR, including the body guys, are breathing a sigh of relief that Danica is gone. I really anticipate Larson to be one of the main cars to beat next year. With just a little better luck he will be the guy next year.

Cant help but wonder why Larson had all the engine trouble at the end of the season.
Well never know. I remember his first race and that lisper on Fox said "who is this kid" and "he will not be a factor at all".
I tell it like I see it.

Doesn't beat the gem of the year from Michael Waltrip: "Once this kid learns how to win races, he is.................................."
I don't remember exactly how the rest went, but the first part of that sentence just proves how much actual research these dips@#ts put into their broadcast. Michael---he won more races by 14 than you won your entire career. And, his Nascar wins are all at actual races----not controlled wind tunnel testing sessions.
Also, Nascar announcers, let's get another thing really clear. Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, and Erik Jones are all very talented young men. They are going to win races and possibly a lot of them. They are good guys. However, there is only one driver who you can argue gets more out of his car than Kyle and that is the other Kyle. Period.
